My prediction for Sunday is that the Philly Cheesesteak Dip I am taking to the appetizer exchange will be a big hit! I think it will beat out the Spinach Artichoke Dip. LOL!
Oh yeah! We have our champion folks.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 293
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 266
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 205

Happy February Friday! Today folks we have 293 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 266 days to go until November, and 205 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Wednesday when we reach the 200-Day Marker till The Bers. That will be huge but I can’t think of it now. I’ve got Friday to work and 4 days off before that milestone happens. Friends, we move along in our Winter Wonderland wondering if the warmth coming this weekend will keep any snow away next week. We’ll see as the weekend goes on. But today with it being Friday friends we need to look at our Fun Fact Friday below!

After processing, the average whole turkey today weighs about 16 pounds. For each pound of roasted whole turkey, about 71 percent is composed of edible meat.

Well I would have gotten close with guessing the 16-pound average of a turkey. We normally get bigger but it makes sense that would be around the average. As for 71% is edible I think I would have guessed a little less than that. But it’s hard to really judge that I think. Oh turkey you are so amazing in so many ways. Gobble all the way to the Superbowl Weekend friends. Be safe and have fun today. Have a great February Friday!

I honestly wonder if any families anywhere are having Turkey in some form on Super Bowl Sunday. I can't remember, but I feel like we talked about it in here maybe a few years ago, the idea of what it would be like to fix a turkey for Super Bowl Sunday. It would be a lot of work, but a lot of fun as well. I don't think the next time I will get "proper" turkey is until Friendsgiving / Halfway to Thanksgiving, unless you count the small Turkey breasts that we usually eat for Rudolph Day. Have a great Friday!

Turkey would be my backup!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 292
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 265
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 204

Happy Double Digits February! Today folks we move along and see we have 292 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 265 days to go until November, and 204 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Wednesday. It will be the 200-Day Marker till The Bers. And it will be a big loving one on Valentine’s Day. But today we move along in our Winter Wonderland and our quiet weekend begins. I know all of you are hoping for a good weekend. And we have a quiet one in this thread after a very busy 5-day week here as always. And posting up a storm with lots of topics all week long. But now we sit back, relax, chat, and look at our counts. And we make our Superbowl plans. I definitely think turkey would be a good meal at the Superbowl. Not sure if anyone actually does that but I think that it would kind of fit. And I think this weekend feels a lot like Thanksgiving. I think Superbowl Sunday has that feel of a big holiday to it but we’ll see when we reach it tomorrow how it really feels live. Turkey friends I hope you all have a great time today on your Saturday. And you all should enjoy it as much as you can. You all deserve it. And you all are the best. Thanks for being here as always. Thanks friends. Have a great Double Digits February!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 291
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 264
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 203

Happy Superbowl Sunday! Today folks we move along and have 291 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 264 days to go until November, and 203 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will take place on Wednesday when we reach the 200-Day Marker till The Bers. Turkey friends we move along in our Winter Wonderland feeling good here on this Sunday. And we move along in the 2nd half of our quiet weekend after a busy week here. Need a break. And need a Superbowl party. But it’s hard to think friends that after today we won’t see a real football game until The Bers. We always associate The Bers with football and Thanksgiving as well. Football is a big part of Thanksgiving Day. So today is linked to Thanksgiving. And the meal today is one of my favorites. It’s right near the top of the list for me as is Thanksgiving, of course. And then you mix in Christmas Eve dinner and maybe a 4th of July BBQ also. But friends I hope your weekend is going ok and that you enjoy your party if you are having one. And if not just come here to post a bit and then we’ll talk during the new week ahead with 5 big daily posts. Have a great time today. And enjoy it for all you can. You’re all the best. Have a great Superbowl Sunday!

Happy Football Sunday! Big milestone day headed our way SOON. It's already on a holiday and thank goodness because that day, and hitting a milestone that big would be like its own holiday. Have a great day!
