Absolutely! Every day that you wake up still breathing is a blessing.
Someone I know says you have to laugh every day even on the days that aren't going great. Find something to laugh about!

I'm thankful today that I can always remember Thanksgiving on Thursday, and also I'm excited that it's a 3 day weekend. The weekends are like mini holidays, but I'll go on and say that a 3 day weekend actually feels like a holiday holiday. It's a good feeling. Lots of positive vibes today! Have a great evening!

Happy 2nd Half Of February! Today folks we have 286 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 259 days to go until November, and 198 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone folks will be Tom Turkey Day #3 which will be in 6 days. That will be next Thursday friends. A long time from now but today we have Friday. And we move along in our Winter Wonderland which has been a cold & snowy week with the below Fun Fact Friday!
When deciding how big of a turkey to get, the rule of thumb is to choose one that weighs one pound for each person expected to share it. The bigger the bird, the greater the ratio of meat to bones, so the cheaper the serving.
Interesting. The part about 1 pound per person didn’t surprise me but I thought the bigger the bird the more bones/fat on it? That’s what I used to think. I thought you’re better off with a smaller one. But I guess you learn something new every day. Well today is a new day and a new opportunity to learn something new. Friends, have a great time today. The year that we had the 27 pound "Birdzilla", that was far too much turkey. I think we only had maybe 10 people total. There were about a dozen gallon size bags of turkey leftovers. Just way too much lol. Everyone had a good time and we tried our best to conquer the beast, but it just couldn't be done.

I think the smaller birds taste better too. Something about the big ones...the taste is just off somehow.

Happy President’s Day Weekend! Today folks we look and see we have 285 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 258 days left until November, and 197 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will happen on Thursday when we reach our Tom Turkey Day #3. But for now folks we move along in our Winter Wonderland and enjoying our quiet weekend period. It was indeed a busy week here as it always is. But now it’s time to relax and enjoy the weekend. And with that we kind of try to calm down in this chat, have fun, chat, post counts, and enjoy the weekend. Topics? Don’t worry. We have 5 days ahead of that next week. But right now we all need a weekend. So let’s try to make the most of it ok? I hope so. And I hope all of my friends who are turkey fans get to enjoy today as much as you can. And also not rushing around all over although I do have a lot to do this weekend so I’ll be pretty busy. But I had off 4 days last weekend and was able to take some time to relax and slow things down. Turkey friends you are all the best. I hope you are having a great start to your weekend. I am thankful for the 3 day weekend!
Happy Saturday everyone. Suffering with the flu again or Covid..who knows. We had a small blizzard yesterday that left us 8ish inches and got more this morning.
I just had a 4-day weekend so I can't complain I'm working Monday...!
