Happy Late June! Today folks we move along and see that we have 154 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 127 days left until November, and 66 days to go until The Bers. Our big Tom Turkey Day #7 has arrived folks! Here we are! Our next milestone? Well believe it or not we’re going to have back-to-back milestones on Sunday when we will reach the 150-Day Marker till Thanksgiving and on Monday we will welcome in the month of July. It’s going to be big. Back-to-back milestones. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest looking below at today’s Thanksgiving Thought Thursday!
My brother might be coming for Thanksgiving this year. That is the early rumor. Normally he comes for Christmas. He hasn’t been here for Thanksgiving in years. The idea of that intrigues me and excites me!
It’s always fun when you have family for the holidays. It just makes it better. And I don’t mean just Christmas. Thanksgiving is more traveled than any holiday so it would be cool to have someone here who normally isn’t. Family, Food, Football = Thanksgiving. Turkey friends enjoy and stay cool. I am trying to use Tom Turkey Days to test out possible appetizers in case hosting an "Appsgiving" on Thanksgiving Eve works out. I tried out 3 varieties of macaroni and cheese bites over the last week and my favorite is the Stouffer's Mac & Cheese Bites done in the air fryer! So to recap, last month's Pretzel Bites were just so-so and are a maybe, but the Mac & Cheese Bites will definitely make the cut!
For July I am thinking about trying a recipe I found online from Better Homes & Gardens. I think I will try two different types of brats and test some in the air fryer as the recipe calls for and some in the oven.

Happy June TGIF! Today folks we have 153 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 126 days to go until November, and 65 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Monday when we welcome in July. But folks that will be huge because it will begin the 2nd half of the year. I always say this but 90% of the things I love the most fall in the 2nd half of the year. And I’m not talking just The Bers. I love the 4th of July and the heart of summer. I know they say this is a fact but can it really be serious? If so, what is this hotline? Anyone ever hear about this? And would you call it? I wonder if it’s free or they charge to call them. This is supposed to be a fact but I’ve never called them so I can’t confirm if it is. But if you have then maybe they answer the phone as “Gobble Gobble” as their intro? Keep it real turkey friends. We move along here in our Summer Sweatfest with our Quiet Weekend Period now starting off today on this Saturday. Our next milestone will be Monday when July Arrives. That will be the beginning of the 2nd half of the year. Do you know what is in the second half of the year? Only the best stuff of the entre year. And it includes Thanksgiving of course. But if you want a bigger breakdown of the comparison check out the Hang Out today. There’s quite an interesting topic today in the Hang Out comparing the two halves. And really there is no comparison when you look at it. Turkey friends I wish you all a great start to your weekend. It’s a great weekend to be here in the summer.
