DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 159
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 132
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 71

Happy Summer Saturday! Today folks we have 159 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 132 days left until November, and 71 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Thursday when we reach Tom Turkey Day #7. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest feeling good here on the weekend. This is the first weekend of summer officially at least. But it’s like winter we start it early in December even though the early part is not winter (technically). I think we all have our own time frames on things. And it’s time for a Quiet Weekend Period now folks. I’m glad you are all here with me this Saturday. I’ve got a few things to do this weekend and some fun things too. But also relaxing. That’s always an important part of each day, I think. Rest your mind and body if you can for a bit. And on a Saturday, you get a little extra chance to do that between all the laundry and stuff you may be doing this weekend. Turkey friends I hope you are doing well as we approach what most kids in my area consider the 10-weeks of summer which takes us through the heart of summer. Many kids here go back to school after Labor Day. I’ve got my own summer break planned too. The best to all of you my turkey friends. Have a great Summer Saturday!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 158
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 131
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 70

Happy Summer Sunday! Today folks we move along and see that we have 158 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 131 days left until November, and 70 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Thursday when we welcome in Tom Turkey Day #7. That should be big for sure. But first folks we move along in our Summer Sweatfest and we’ve been sweating all week here. It’s been a heck of a hot week as transitioned officially from spring to summer this week. Summer definitely came a little early this year. We’ll see how things go as we progress. But we move along in the 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period now with a Sunday. And this is a good day to do something with the family or chill out and relax in the a/c. A/C I always say is the best invention. The only other one that’s up there for me is GPS. Obviously, the lightbulb was pretty awesome too lol. Turkey friends we move along in the 2nd half of your weekend and I hope you are all doing well so far this weekend. And I hope you are staying cool in the summer heat. Definitely take breaks if you’re out in the heat too long. And come inside into some a/c. And get ready for a big final week of June in this thread with big time weekly topics. Have a great Summer Sunday!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 157
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 130
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 69

Happy Final Week Of June! Today folks we move along and see that we have 157 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 130 days left until November, and 69 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will happen on Thursday my friends as we reach Tom Turkey Day #7. That’s going to be a big gobbling day. But we move along in our Summer Sweatfest and I have to say this year it’s living up to its name. Based on the early forecasts for July that might continue, more often than not, this summer season. That’s ok though to me it just means it will slow things down a little and give us extra time to enjoy our build back to The Bers this summer. Folks it’s Monday so it’s time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week which stands at 22 weeks. Double 2’s folks. Is it bad I remember double 3’s and double 4’s? Well here we are now into the 2s. Double Trouble? Turkey friends I hope you are all doing well today and ready for a brand new week. It’s going to be a long week. I had off last week a bunch of days. But I’m ok with that. I’m still a summer lover and I know the 2nd half of the year has everything I love the most in it. And we still have a full week this week to build back to that. Turkey and Stuffing is in the 2nd half too. Just in case you didn’t know. Have a great Final Week Of June!

I think this is the first week that I didn't believe the count. 22 weeks has snuck up on me but I am ready for Tom Turkey Day, I am trying out Macaroni and Cheese bites in the air fryer as a try-out for a possible Appsgiving gathering on Thanksgiving Eve.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 156
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 129
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 68

Happy Leon Day! Today folks we have 156 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 129 days left until November, and 68 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Thursday with Tom Turkey Day #7 arriving on that day and during that time. My friends we move along in our Summer Sweatfest on this Picture Day Tuesday which means it is time to post those pictures that you are wanting to post. And make sure you don’t forget that today is a day to take a deep breath and look at the sights of fall/autumn/Thanksgiving. I think those are some of our favorite words to describe the season. Turkey friends I hope your week got off to a great start on Monday and that today on Tuesday it only gets better. We had a nice break from the heat on Monday afternoon as it cooled off (temperature dropped from the early morning and we got a cool breeze). However, the heat promises to return rapidly here today. No matter what though we’ll all stay cool in our a/c and here in this thread trying to have fun and talking to each other. Sharing those cooler pictures of cooler times will help a bit with doing that. And I wish you all a great day here on the 2nd day of the week. All the best to you, my friends. Have a great Leon Day!

I woke up this morning and it's only 56 degrees outside! That is on the heels of an absolutely beautiful day yesterday - it was in the 80's, but no humidity. The breeze outside immediately transported me to a late August or September day. It even could have been one of the early days in October, when it is still warm outside, but no humidity. And I looked around and imagined what it would be like in just a few months when I see the colors on the leaves. That's the only thing that was missing.

I'm a little more nostalgic than normal today. Leon Day is here and it is always such a big deal for me. I think back to what brought me to this site - which was my 24/7 love of Christmas. And sometimes I still take "extra" time to think about Christmas even though I am a Halloween / Fall fanatic. And I think today about how Christmas wouldn't feel the same without having passed through Halloween and Thanksgiving. And I don't think Thanksgiving would be the same without having passed through October and still knowing that the wonderful December is ahead of us still.

Have a great day, friends!
