Thanksgiving 2024 Thread

All the talk of Thanksgiving Eve is giving me a boost, it doesn't hurt that I made it to Hobby Lobby yesterday and got to see all the Fall/Harvest decor!
DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 130
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 103
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 42
Happy Summer Sunday! Today folks we have 130 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 103 days left until November, and 42 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestones will be Wednesday and Thursday. We’ll have the 100-Day Marker till November and Tom Turkey Day #8. Back to back milestones folks. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest (2nd half style) feeling good on this Sunday. We have our 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period happening here. We are moving along here right into and through the heart of our summer my friends. Lots of great times ahead. And lots of great stuff to come. And those first thoughts of autumn starting to gear up even in our local stores. Lots of fun times ahead but the only way to make it go slow and take it all in is to start now and enjoy the moment and the summer. Turkey friends I hope you all have a great day today. And a great rest of your weekend. It’s been mostly laid back here which I can say I truly enjoy. I’m thankful for it and am happy about it too. Turkey friends we will gear up for another long week of topics in this thread after we get our restful Sunday and the rest of our weekend to enjoy first. Happy Sunday! Big milestones coming our way this week. And the best part is, we are starting to cool down finally, ever so slightly. The past two mornings have been in the low 60's, we've had dew on the ground, and we could feel ever so slightly the coolness in the air. One of my favorite things about late July and especially August is watching that slow change. We should have some pretty fine weather by the end of August if everything keeps going our way. Happy Juggling July! Today folks we have 129 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 102 days left until November, and 41 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest feeling good here on this Monday. A brand new week with back to back milestones showing up on our calendar on Wednesday (100 Day Marker till November) and Thursday (Tom Turkey Day #8). Today is Monday so let’s just focus on today first ok? And we do so with a great weekly thing we do called our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week. And now folks it stands at 18 weeks today. Lovely isn’t it? I love our Monday feature here in this thread and it has been a staple now the last few years. I think it’s an exciting and little fun noteworthy way to start each brand new week off. But as we say here no rushing anything. Just enjoy today. Have a good day with your coworker or friends. Or get something good to eat for lunch. Take your dog out for a walk later. Sip some iced coffee. Go for a jog. Or do all of the above. That’s my plans for the day. It was good time to have off of work but I’m fortunate that I actually look forward to going back today. Turkey friends gobble your way into your Monday. Have a great Juggling July!

Time marches on! I'm glad to see the last full week of July - we are going to enjoy each day of it because in truth, I'm not quite ready to enter into Fall Pre-Season yet. Because I know when I get there, they'll really be no more trying to "slow" time and I run the risk of August going by "fast", and I don't want to rush it or The Bers. But when it gets here, it will be so worth the wait. Tom Turkey Day is on the horizon! And sharing a special day with Rudolph Day, how very cool! Have a great Monday!
Wow, 18 weeks already. I remember when it was 28 weeks, and I thought we'd be in the 20s for a good, long while. Not so, apparently. Time has really kicked into high gear ever since we reached Memorial Day.
Time to focus on the present, though. We still have a good bit of July left, and I've got to figure out how I'm going to celebrate Tom Turkey Day this week! I would really love one of those Buc-ee's smoked turkey sandwiches, but I don't think I'll be able to make the drive there this week. I might have to settle for some turkey jerky from the local meat market.

Happy Joyous July! Today folks we move along and see that we have 128 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 101 days left until November, and 40 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next 2 milestones coming the next 2 days. They are the 100-Day Marker till November and Tom Turkey Day #8. It’s going to be a fun back to back doubleheader for sure the next couple of days. Turkey friends it’s Tuesday so guess what? It’s Picture Day. This is one of my favorite things about Tuesdays. And we all will try to post some pictures of Autumn/Thanksgiving that make us cool off in the humidity of the middle of the summer. Turkey friends may all of you have a great 2nd day of your week. I am sure you are all enjoying it as much as you can. I always say the way to slow down time (at least in your mind) is to enjoy the little moments of each day. You feel like you got more out of the day that way instead of taking it for granted which makes it seem like a longer day (in a good way).
