I get the feeling that when most of us return to work after Veteran's day, the time is going to pass in the blink of an eye and we will be staring at "The week before". As good ole JR would say, "Business is about to pick up".

Have a great Sunday!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 17

Happy Double Digits November! Today folks we move along and see that we have 17 days remaining until Thanksgiving. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next milestone arriving 1 week from today as we reach the Home Stretch till Thanksgiving. It’s Monday folks so time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week. Guess what? We have the countdown down to 2 now. Unreal right? Just unreal. Just 2 weeks now until Thanksgiving Week. The week that changes everything and the day that changes everything of course is Thanksgiving. If you don’t believe me, join the Hang Out today to discuss it. But we all know Thanksgiving Day is about as big of a day as there is all year long and that is why we have this thread to keep it going all year long and have fun celebrating it while still enjoying each day that we encounter all year long. Turkey friends the best to you on this Sunday. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your week as we begin a new week. It should be another busy one for me but this time of year I expect it to be. And of course, most of us are still eyeing that big Thanksgiving Break that many of us are given to be able to start up the holiday season. For now, I’m content where we are in the middle of calmness. Have a great Double Digits November!

TWO weeks. Incredible. It was like the count went from 19 weeks to two weeks in the blink of an eye. That's the power of the second half of the year.

I wasn't ready for Halloween to be here, and honestly I'm not ready for Thanksgiving yet, either, but it's coming whether I'm ready or not!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 16

Happy Veterans Day! Today folks we move along and see that we have 16 days remaining until Thanksgiving. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next (and final) milestone arriving on Monday. It will be the Home Stretch till Thanksgiving. It’s Tuesday folks so it is time for Picture Day. Can you believe we are putting up pictures of Autumn and Thanksgiving like every Tuesday but that we have signs of both now all over the place outside our own window and in our own home? It’s a tremendous time of year and I told someone yesterday we are really in the calm before the storm now. We still have plenty of calm days left to enjoy before things go crazy. Turkey friends I hope you had a good Monday and that your Tuesday will live up to whatever you hope for it to be. I hope you are all well here this Tuesday. It has gotten sharply colder here, and it seems like we will adapt now to chillier temperatures for the time being. Of course, we’ll still see a few warmups, but they will be limited this time of year. It is to be expected as we move solidly into the 2nd half of Autumn. Turkey friends I hope you are doing well on this Tuesday. And I wish you the best here as we move into a new day of the week. Have a great Veterans Day!

25 degrees right now and barely getting above freezing today! Coldest day in November I can remember in many years!

We're almost two weeks to Thanksgiving. That's CRAZY!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 15

Happy Dozen Days Of November! Today folks we move along and see that we have 15 days remaining until Thanksgiving. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next milestone not approaching until next week on Monday. It is 5 days from now and will be the Home Stretch till Thanksgiving. It’s Wednesday folks so time for our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!

What’s your least favorite thing about Thanksgiving?

  • I have to work the day after Thanksgiving.
  • I overeat and feel sick afterwards.
  • The hectic time of year begins with Thanksgiving.
  • I am not a fan of the parade or football.
  • I’m going to say C. Although I’m excited for the early part of it, it does get hectic as we move into December. I don’t work the day after. I don’t really overeat and feel sick. And I do like the parade and football. Turkey friends the best to you here on this Wednesday. Enjoy your day. Have a great Dozen Days Of November!

I guess the option that's most common for me is A, although that hasn't been the case for the last several years. Last year our company gave us a "free" holiday the day after Thanksgiving, and this year I'm using PTO to take the day off. And the other statements aren't necessarily true for me, although I guess B would be the runner-up.

B is the only answer for me. I always end up feeling stuffed and uncomfortable. Why do I do it? Surely, you jest!

I have to say option B for me. Sort of. I eat too much, but not so much that I get sick. That's no fun, and then you don't enjoy your leftovers the next day! In our family, the day-after leftovers were looked forward to as much as the main Thanksgiving dinner.

None of the above for me.
I don't have to work on Friday.
I never feel sick from overeating. And I will overeat.
The season is never hectic to me.
And, I LOVE the parade.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 14

Happy November Teens! Today folks we move along and see that we have 14 days remaining until Thanksgiving. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next milestone arriving in 4 days. It will happen on Monday with the Arrival of the Home Stretch till Thanksgiving. It’s Thursday folks so time for our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!

2 weeks from now is Thanksgiving. Can you believe it? I can. I feel like this thread has helped me keep it alive all year long. It’s amazing we started this thread 50 weeks ago and now have 2 weeks left. And today we enter the Christmas Season. What a wonderful time of year we are entering and approaching.

It truly is a wonderful time of year turkey friends as we enter today the Christmas Season per Crown and MMC. It’s about right as you really start seeing the signs out there increasingly as we move along here into the middle of the month of November. I hope everyone is doing well this week and enjoying it. Gobble Gobble my turkey friends as we have gone from 52 weeks down to only 2. Have a great November Teens!

What a long journey it has been. Each year we get a shiny brand new thread but it feels like FOREVER. Time the last two months have been strange with how fast it has been. Still blows my mind that two weeks from now will be TURKEY DAY and then the only thing left will be the Granddaddy of them all, CHRISTMAS DAY. What a ride it has been.

Have a great Thursday!
