How was your Easter?
- It was ok.
- It wasn’t too good.
- It was good but I’m not a big Easter person.
- It was great and Easter is a bit underrated.
- Up until this year I’d probably say A or C but I’m going with D. I think it’s underrated. I think the way it really ushers in spring, a family holiday, and some fun traditions that Easter doesn’t get enough hype. I hope you all had a great Easter though. Enjoy your day. Have a great Always April!
Hey folks - Easy answer today, "D"! Even if a person doesn't enjoy Easter for religious reasons, there's no denying the comparisons between Easter and Christmas/Thanksgiving. As a religious person, I can say that I enjoy Easter for "all of the above". I consider Easter to be the first "major" Holiday of the New Year / New Countdown season. And with the Spring weather being basically a mirror image of October, it's easy to love Easter. And I think maybe in 2026, somehow I'm going to have a countdown of some kind to Easter. I'm not suggesting an Easter thread, or even an "official" countdown on one of the threads, but I like the idea of me keeping a "silent countdown" like I do with other events.

Happy Final Week Of April! Today folks we move along and see that we have 217 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 191 days left until November, and 130 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next having arrived right here today. It’s Tom Turkey Day #5. Rich’s favorite. Our next milestone will be next Thursday. Another Thursday milestone? Yes, indeed. It will be when we reach the Arrival of May. Turkey friends it’s Thursday so time for our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!
For whatever reason Easter just felt a bit like Thanksgiving this year. I think over the years I’ve overlooked Easter a bit. And yet in other ways it felt like the complete opposite to where we are on the calendar. I still find it interesting how holidays flow and their similarities, yet differences happen between them.
I like how some holidays remind me of other days but also how they also feel unique. I hope everyone did have a great Easter this year. It’s a shorter count as it will be 2 weeks earlier next year. Turkey friends we know Thanksgiving is the 4th Thursday of November. Right? Have a great Final Week Of April!

Happy Tom Turkey day to all! Nothing will feel more like fall tonight than watching the NFL Draft! We've long said Fall=Football. Even seeing a little bit of football on TV is going to be exciting! I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
