Thanksgiving in Plymouth may not have been so cordial

We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone arriving on Thursday. Yes, another Thursday milestone as we reach the Arrival of May. A big month for us in this thread as it will represent the biggest milestones, we’ll have outside of The Bers. Unreal. It’s Saturday folks so time for our Quiet Weekend Period Part 1 of 2. It’s going to be a fun one. I hope all of you enjoy it. We don’t have the greatest weather this weekend but that’s how it goes sometimes. It’s been so nice this week, so we have to deal with some rain and clouds now. We need the rain too. Turkey friends the best to you on this weekend. I hope your Saturday is off to a great start. I would say the weather here is good and best of all it is sunny! I don't remember the last time I was home on a sunny Saturday.
Unfortunately "Thanksgiving tension" can be a real thing, especially as it comes to folks being "forced" to spend time with each other at a Holiday. I completely understand. I think @The_Escalation knows what I'm talking about.
I go through a little bit of it every year, unfortunately. Luckily for me, the good outweighs the bad! I can handle one "bad" day of having to get together when compared to the whole entire holiday season!

Happy Late April! Today folks we move along and see that we have 214 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 188 days left until November and 127 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone arriving on Thursday. What arrives on Thursday, you ask? It’s actually the Arrival of May. What does May bring? Everything in this thread. The halfway marker till Thanksgiving of course being the #1 thing. But it’s an amazing month (one of my favorites). It’s Sunday folks so time for our Quiet Weekend Period Part 2. I hope Part 1 was good. It’s been a fairly busy weekend here but still some down time which is nice. Down time might be my favorite time of day. Every evening I hit the couch I feel at total peace. I hope all of you are doing well. The best to you on this Sunday. I hope you are enjoying it. I put away my long sleeve shirts yesterday. I’m done with them. No more sweaters. No more long sleeve shirts. Of course, it’s a little damp the first morning I start doing that haha. But it’s not bad. Turkey friends the best to you here on this Sunday. I hope your weekend continues to go well. And I hope you all have a great 2nd half of your weekend today. I try to prepare myself every year for the people who seem to like to take the air out of my ballon/rain on the parade, that is the hardest thing for me.

And it starts today with that 30-week marker. We all know what May brings for us in this thread. All the biggest milestones one can think of so we better enjoy the remaining days of April that we have. Turkey friends I hope your week starts off good for you. And I hope you are doing well. I had a pretty good weekend. Pretty busy but mostly good stuff. And I hope you all had a good one as well. Happy Monday folks! Almost at May now. I don't want to wish away what is left of Spooky Spring, but everybody knows why I want May to be here so bad. The last 8 months have felt like I've been crawling through Molasses.
My new immediate short term goal after Halfoween is Memorial Day weekend, which is 26 days from today. Obviously Memorial Day is when THE ROAD opens back up to The Bers, but it's also when MY ROAD literally opens for getting ready to go to the hospital. Lots of thoughts of The Bers and Holiday Season are in my head now. I was just thinking yesterday about how pretty soon I will be watching videos of Autumn and winter stuff, just as part of my "prep" that I do every year when Summer starts encroaching.
