DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 175
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 149
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 88

Happy Just June! Today folks we move along and see that we have 175 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 149 days left until November and 88 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving when Summer Arrives. We still have a little over 2 weeks until that arrives though. Turkey friends it’s Thursday so time for our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!

Now that we have passed the halfway to Thanksgiving marker you feel the downward slide. It’s a good feeling. Maybe it’s a hot feeling as we move through the summer but right now it just feels good. It’s nice to know we’re closer to this year’s Thanksgiving than we are to last year’s Thanksgiving. I’m thankful for that.

I think summer is a great time of year for so many reasons and one of them is how Autumn and the Holiday Season are all in front of us. That’s a safe place to keep it and it’s a fun time to think about all of those things coming in front of us. More time to get excited for it. That’s a big plus if you ask me. Have a great Just June!

I'm loving where we are in the count right now. Moving downhill!

Every year I wait for the Summer Solstice. I have memes burning a hole in my pocket about being ready for Hoodie Weather, fall leaves, etc... I have my own custom one I made a few years back, that I always launch the first day of Summer. Let's Gooooo!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 174
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 148
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 87

Happy June TGIF! Today folks we move along and see that we have 174 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 148 days left until November, and 87 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving when Summer Arrives. It will arrive 2 weeks from today. Believe it or not it is coming friends. Turkey friends it’s Friday so time for our Fun Fact Friday below!

  • What are the four colors typically associated with Thanksgiving? Answer: Red, orange, yellow and brown.
Those are colors of leaves, aren’t they? I think that’s what I think about. And turkeys are (golden) brown? So maybe that’s what those colors mean when you talk about Thanksgiving. Leaves and turkey. What I associate with Thanksgiving is not really colors but food. Turkey, stuffing, gravy and more. Turkey friends I hope you are doing well and enjoying your Friday. The heat and humidity have gone up this week, but my a/c is keeping me comfortable. I’m not tired of it. It's still very early in the Sweatfest. Have a great June TGIF!

x2 on not being tired of the SweatFest yet. Getting that way now would be miserable, since there are still SO MANY days left of it. But when I get to the end of this month and the first part of July? Then I can start to get tired of it because I know that we are in the final weeks of the horrible hot summer. It is still going to be warm after that for sure, but the horrible brutal heat normally always retreats by the later part of July. That I can count on. So that's kind of my goal right now, just "survive" until then. lol. Have a great day!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 173
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 147
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 86

Happy Week Into June! Today folks we move along and see that we have 173 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 147 days to go until November and 86 days left until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving in less than 2 weeks when summer officially arrives. It’s Saturday folks so time for our Quiet Weekend Period Part 1 of 2. I love Saturdays and I know many of you do. I do have some house stuff to take care of and my usual laundry/food shopping activities but it's all good and I’ll still make time to relax and enjoy plenty of time this weekend. I’m mostly having a laid-back weekend here and I hope you get to enjoy some time this weekend to slow things down a bit and enjoy the moments of summer. Turkey friends I hope your week has gone well. I hope you are enjoying your time with your family and friends. And that you make the most of it. The weather here has been hot the last few days and truly felt like a Sweatfest but it’s eased up now on the weekend. No matter what your plans are, I wish you the best this weekend. Turkey friends enjoy your day and the entire weekend. Make the most of it and realize every weekend does truly feel like a holiday, which is a great thing. Have a great Week Into June!

We got all the groceries done yesterday, so today is just a relaxing day at home.

I'm working on a 1974 IH Cub Cadet 108 that my grandfather bought new. It was "retired" from mowing a few years ago when we bought a new riding mower for my Grandma's house. It still mows now and could then, but it was beyond time.

It has basically sat in my pole barn since then, I got it out yesterday, fixed the exhaust leak, wired back up the headlights and got them working, and later today or tomorrow, mounting new back tires on it. The back tires are original and 51 years old, still hold air but severely dry rotted! My plan is to completely clean it up and polish it up and put in the antique tractor show later this summer at the park. There will be hundreds of old cub cadets there!

Have a great Saturday!
