As someone who lives in a warm/hot climate, I can attest that no, it does not feel right. Not at all. That’s why I want to move further north.
Well I want to move further south so trade? I would be ok with living further south in January through March. Move back to the Northeast April 1st and stay here through the end of the year.
That would be ideal. Sign me up.

Happy Flag Day! Today folks we move along and see that we have 166 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 140 days left until November and 79 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving on Friday. It will be the Arrival of Summer. Yes, the official arrival is on Friday, and it will be the summer solstice. Very big day. We move along this Saturday with the first half of our Quiet Weekend Period. I love my weekends quiet, and this one seems quiet. My birthday was Thursday (thank you again for all the wishes I saw on MMC) and we’re having a little birthday thing on Sunday with our “Sunday Group” as I call them. We do that for everyone’s birthday, and this is the group I do all the Fall/Halloween activities that I am totally in love with. We do fun and unique stuff every Sunday. For today I’m just focusing on house stuff and visiting my friend for a bit. I’m going to get Damian to the park as always as that is his favorite place. Turkey friends I hope your weekend plans are fun and exciting. Or maybe boring and relaxing? Or maybe a combination of both. I think that is the best way to be sometimes. A good mixture on the weekends is best. Have a great Flag Day!

Happy Flag Day! Today folks we move along and see that we have 166 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 140 days left until November and 79 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving on Friday. It will be the Arrival of Summer. Yes, the official arrival is on Friday, and it will be the summer solstice. It's a rainy weekend here, I got all my mowing done earlier this week, so I will be able to just relax some and do fun projects. I'm putting the front end back together on my F250 truck, and then tomorrow I'm going to keep working on my old antique tractor to take to the tractor show in August.

Wow, the solstice is upon us already. For most of the country, it means the beginning of summer, but for me it’s a huge turning point. When the days begin getting shorter, even by mere seconds, I feel like the long wait is finally over, and we’re headed in the right direction with July 4th being the only remaining “obstacle” to pass by.
20 weeks until November. It will be here before you know it. Mostly because, between now and then, we have a lot of other things happening, which will make it feel like it's flying by. The 50 Day Preview, Sep 1st, Autumn beginning, October, Halloween, and other events that we have in our lives. Yep, it won't be long now.

Happy Father’s Day! Today folks we move along and see that we have 165 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 139 days left until November and 78 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone set to arrive on Friday. It will be the Arrival of Summer. And it looks to start to heat up here this coming week and maybe beyond that even more. We’ll see though as long range forecasts do tend to change. It’s Sunday friends so time for the second half of our Quiet Weekend Period. I appreciate all of you being here today on this quiet Sunday. Isn’t that how we love our Quiet Sundays? Pretty funny but this is my last regular 2 day weekend for quite a while. I have the next 6 weekends lined up as 3-day weekends with a variation of Friday or Monday attached to each weekend for the next 6. Right into and through part of the heart of summer. I’ll make sure my a/c is working at full speed as it has been very reliable for me so far. Don’t want to jinx that but I think we have plenty of heat and humidity in our not too distant future. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving on Friday with the Arrival of Summer. And right on schedule it’s going to get hot here as the official start of summer approaches. And it might get very hot beyond that but we’ll see if the long-range forecast plays out. The Sweatfest is definitely going to be picking up here which is what you expect this time of year. It’s Monday folks so let’s do our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week which now stands at 23 weeks. Wow awesome isn’t it? We are moving along through the 20s now folks. Definitely making a little progress but trying to hold on and keep things in front of us including the popular 50-Day Preview of The Bers. It will be back but not until next month. For now, we focus squarely on Monday. I have to say I’m going to be spoiled here because I have 3-day weekends for the next 6 weekends. That’s hard to do but I’ve decided this summer that’s how I want to take my time off. I’m trying to limit 5-day weeks this summer and it seems I’m on the road to doing that.
