DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 82
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 56

Happy September Weekend! Today folks we move along and see that we have 82 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 56 days left until November. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next milestone arriving in less than a week from now. It will arrive on Friday with the Final Fifty till November. It’s Saturday folks so time for the first half of our Quiet Weekend Period. I hope all of you are enjoying the start to The Bers. This first week has been awesome. And this truly has felt like the Transition Week. Back to work, Back to school, Back to football and Back to The Bers of course. But this is the first weekend, so I hope you all enjoy it and make the most of it today. Turkey friends I hope your week went well. And I hope that you are ready to enjoy your weekend. The best to you and your family/friends as we embark on a Bers Weekend. It’s an exciting time of year and we are truly in pressure-free zone. That’s what makes September the Sweet Spot with the big 3 holiday months still well in front of us. Turkey friends I hope you will enjoy your Saturday and still get your errands done which I know is a Saturday necessity for most of us. The best to you my gobbling friends. And thanks for being here. The weather has been great here too, when I woke up this morning it felt like 44 degrees! I haven't been able to be as active during the workweeks but I still love being here and I enjoy the quiet weekends. Errands are definitely the order of the day and tomorrow I hope to soak up The Bers and daydream about the months ahead.

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 55

Happy Week Into September! Today folks we move along and see that we have 81 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 55 days to go until November. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next milestone arriving in 5 days. It will be the Final Fifty till November. It will take place on Friday. For now, folks, we move along into the second half of our Quiet Weekend Period. I hope you all enjoyed the 1st half of the 1st weekend of The Bers. And I know all of you are looking forward to the 2nd half of the 1st weekend of The Bers today. It’s nice to say two things today. #1 is that we are still in the first week of The Bers. #2 is that tomorrow we begin the (usual 10 but this year 11) week journey from the week after Labor Day up until Thanksgiving Week. It’s easily my favorite stretch of the year when I cut it that way. This week is great and everything, but I always feel it takes Labor Day week for everything to settle in. We had Labor Day BBQ, went back to work, went back to school and went back to football. Now we’re settled into the month of September, and the fall season is truly right in front of us staring at us and welcoming us back home. Nothing feels like home like Autumn to me. It’s always been my #1 season (by far). #2 is summer, 3 is spring, and #4 is winter (sorry winter you are also by far #4). Have a great Week Into September!​

I think I will need the extra week between Labor Day and Thanksgiving and that right now it will build my anticipation all the more! Next weekend we are supposed to have temps back into the high 80s, but for now I am going to enjoy the cool temps!

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 54

Happy Sweet Spot September! Today folks we move along and see that we have 80 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 54 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next milestone arriving on Friday. It will be the Final Fifty till November. It’s Monday folks so time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week. It now stands at 11 weeks. Folks, the road really begins now that we have passed Labor Day Week. This Monday after is always the restart button in my mind fully heading towards Autumn and the long road back to our final destination of Thanksgiving. Usually, we get 10 weeks on this road but this year we get a bonus 11th week. You might say that means it’s farther away but that’s a good thing because this road we’re on now is about as fun of a road as you can find during the year. Turkey friends I hope you had a good weekend and that you are enjoying the start to your new week. We had a good weekend here. It was very laid back, which was nice and the plans for next weekend already seem like a good mixture of fun, laid-back and late summer fun. Right now, I’m focusing on Monday as all of you should. I hope you enjoy the start of your new week, my friends. Enjoy. Have a great Sweet Spot September!​
 
Happy Monday! Beautiful weather outside, it's 48 degrees and only getting up to 73 today! I think barring any kind of crazy pop up heatwave, I can say with 95% certainty that I believe summer heat is "done". It was a long, hot summer. We need to enjoy these beautiful days and cool nights. I sure am. Have a great day!

July was really the worst and into the first half of August...suddenly it just went away then!
 
Eleven weeks! I need to make a plan for the what is going to get cleaned when since I want to be ready the Weekend Before Thanksgiving and putting up Christmas decorations!

Happy Late Summer! Today folks we move along and see that we have 79 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 53 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next milestone arriving in 3 days with the Final Fifty till November. It’s Tuesday folks so time for our Picture Day. Are you ready to post those pictures of autumn and Thanksgiving? Now we’re really heading towards that season friends. It’s not officially autumn yet. I’ve still got my shorts out despite it being mostly below normal temperatures for the last few weeks. It’s been refreshing. I hope it has been nice for you as well. This time of year, it is just underrated. I know we all talk about September on this site but really because of the Big 3 holidays those months get a lot more talk all year long. And I get that, and they deserve it but give me September and I’m happy living in September for as long as we can. I’m hopeful that the nice weather we have continues to hold for as long as possible in this late summer/heading towards early autumn season. Turkey friends enjoy your Tuesday. I wish you all well.
