DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 21
Happy Columbus Day Eve! Today folks we move along and see that we have 46 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 21 days left until November. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next milestone set to arrive in 11 days. And not only will our next milestone arrive but there will be a 2nd one that arrives that day. They are Tom Turkey Day #11 and the Home Stretch till November. That will be some combination my friends. It’s Sunday folks so time for the 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period. And here we are into a new day here on this Sunday. If you are curious at all about The Sunday Group’s plans today feel free to check out that thread, I created last weekend. I decided not to blab too much about them in too many threads. However, we’re doing 2 activities today and I hope to write a review about them Tuesday and Wednesday of this coming week respectively. Monday will be a holiday for some, and I hope you enjoy the long weekend if you get it. Gobble Gobble my turkey friends and I wish you well. Make the most of it my friends. Big week coming up! It's just a quiet Sunday here. We're going to do Abigale's birthday party later, but it's too rainy to do anything outside. It's rained 1.25 inches since midnight, and we might have 3 inches of rain by the time it is all over.
I don't think its rained this much in a single day in several years. And with how our drought has been, it's much needed, even though the drought has been declared over and we are close to "normal" rainfall for this point in the year.
I just hope it clears up enough tomorrow so I can do some outside chores. It looks like we are going to get our first frost next week, so I want to powerwash my vinyl siding like I do every fall, it will be one of the last times I use the hose before disconnecting the hoses and putting everything away.

It’s Monday folks so time for our weekly feature YouTube Day below!
One thing I know is this guy can cook better than I can. And I enjoy watching people who are more skilled at such things than myself. But it makes me hungry every time that they cook. I think I’ve mentioned it but my mom made the best apple pie and made it this weekend. Everyone tried to get a piece (siblings, uncle, etc.). Don’t blame them. It’s a great time of year for apple pie. And I really did love going apple picking. It renewed my love for it. No offense but why did I say all summer I love summer soooooo much? I mean I do but nothing and I mean nothing comes close to autumn for me. I wish you all a great day today on Sunday. Make the most of this Monday my friends. Have a great Columbus Day!

Happy Columbus day to everyone! If you are at work, I hope your workday goes by fast, if you're home, I hope you have a wonderful day off.
I'm going to attempt some outside chores later that involve me washing my vinyl siding, so as long as the wind doesn't get crazy and I don't end up getting soaked, I'll be all set. I used to do the siding in the Spring AND the Fall, mostly because of having the back of my house in a shady area, and also the pellet stove makes the siding dusty because of the fly ash. I've gotten out of that habit the past few years but want to get back into it.
This will probably be one of my last days to be able to use the hoses outside. We have a few nights this week with a frost warning.

We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next doubleheader milestone day set for 9 days from now. It will be when we reach Tom Turkey Day #11 and the Home Stretch till November. It’s Tuesday folks so time for Picture Day. Are you ready for it? Make sure you share your pictures of Autumn and Thanksgiving today. This is a great day to do it my friends. I love Tuesdays for that reason here in this thread. I had a good long 3-day weekend as I know some of you did as well. It felt like turning into the heart of autumn now. I think we’ve all eased into it the past few weeks and now we’re fully into it and really enjoying where we are now. I keep thinking how much I love this season more than any other. Yes, I know some would say I’m crazy but even more than the holiday season, overall. The way I can explain it is that the fall season to me I could live year-round and be totally in love with it and never get tired of it. The Holiday Season can be the most special time of year still, but I wouldn’t want it around all year. I guess that’s how I look at it and feel about it. Thanksgiving is right in between both. Happy Tuesday everyone.. The eggnog is officially in my store now. I already bought a bunch to freeze for the doldrums of next year. And I was able to finally find turkey stock, it hasnt been available here for 2 yrs.
