DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 247
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 222
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 161

Happy Super Spring! Today folks we move along and see that we have 247 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 222 days left until November and 161 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone set to arrive on Thursday with Tom Turkey Day #4. It’s Tuesday folks so time for our Picture Day which is one of our favorite days in this thread. I hope you will all share the pictures you have of Fall and Thanksgiving. I know nobody else outside this website really thinks about either one right now in the first handful of days of March but it’s something we all dream about all year long. And I think in the next 1-2 months you’re going to get more of a Fall Feeling than any other time of the year (obviously other than actual fall). I love this time of year and being on the opposite side of the calendar from Fall with the entire thing ahead of us looking forward to but also able to recreate it a bit with the weather that normally accompanies us through the first half of spring. Have a great day friends. Make the most of today and I hope you enjoy everything this Tuesday. And of course, just always keep that gobbling spirit that you have inside of you. Gobble Gobble. Have a great Super Spring!

Coming to my local Hobby Lobby, hopefully SOON! I'm going to start "hunting" this weekend, but I imagine in truth I'm probably at least a month before seeing any Christmas items, but I probably will see Fall stuff by the middle / end of next month! How exciting!

Have a Super Tuesday!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 246
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 221
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 160

Happy 1st Quarter! Today folks we move along and see that we have 246 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 221 days left until November and 160 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone set to arrive tomorrow on Thursday. It will be Tom Turkey Day #4. It’s Wednesday folks so time for our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!

Where does baseball fall in terms of sports for you?

A.) It’s my favorite.
B.) It’s my least favorite.
C.) It’s somewhere in the middle.
D.) I don’t follow sports at all.

I’m going with C. It’s somewhere in the middle. I still consider football as my favorite sport but lately I have been more into baseball. I think the weather is part of it too as the “Boys of Summer” makes me think warmer thoughts after a very cold winter. The best to you turkey friends. Have a great 1st Quarter!

My response is closer to D.

I don't "follow" any sports, though I'll watch a golf game sometimes. I like to watch clips of baseball games showing something interesting finally happening. No interest in basketball, soccer, or any other sport.

Football does feel like Fall, though, so it holds a more special place in my heart. ;)

B. It is probably my least favorite of the major sports. Living in Pittsburgh and having the Pirates as your home team does that to you!

There is a little optimism for them this year, but I will believe it when I see it. Fool me once.....your fault, fool me twice....my fault. Been there, done that.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 245
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 220
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 159

Happy Latter March! Today folks we move along and see that we have 245 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 220 days left until November and 159 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring on this Milestone Day with Tom Turkey Day #4 arriving. Wow. Our next milestone will be the Arrival of April which takes place on Wednesday. But that’s far off as it’s only Thursday right now in this current week and that means it is time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving. It stands at 35 weeks friends. You know what that means? We’re basically a third of the way to Thanksgiving. Yikes. The way we are going now folks we need to cherish each of these spring days in Stress-Free Spring. A lot of behind-the-scenes stuff is going on with preparing (well in advance) the Annual 50-Day Preview of The Bers scheduled to take place this coming summer. But as my uncle says don’t wish your life away or rush it. And I think that should be our mindset right now still hanging on to the 1st quarter of the year. But it’s been a good quarter, and you can read my review and post your review in the Hang Out today or anytime you feel like it through the end of the quarter on Tuesday. The best to you turkey friends. Have a great Latter March!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 244
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 219
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 158

Happy Spring TGIF! Today folks we move along and see that we have 244 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 219 days left until November and 158 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone set to arrive on Wednesday with the Arrival of April. It’s a big milestone for sure as we move into the 2nd Quarter at that point. It’s Friday folks so time for our Fun Fact Friday below!

Thanksgiving football was initially a college tradition

Football and Thanksgiving dates back to 1876 with a game played by Yale and Princeton.
It wasn’t until 1934 that the Detroit Lions also began hosting a Thanksgiving Day game. A few decades later (1966 to be precise), the Dallas Cowboys also joined the party in 1966.

That is always something to remember if you already knew it (and if you didn’t, know it now). We all talk so much about the NFL on Thanksgiving, but it didn’t start that way. A lot of traditions we have come to love on different holidays all started with a similar yet different tradition. And this is a good example. Have a great Spring TGIF!
