Happy Summer Preview! Today folks we move along and see that we have 190 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 165 days left until November and 104 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring for several more days with our next milestone changing that to the Summer Sweatfest when the 100 Day Marker till The Bers arrives on Sunday. It will feel like a holiday as the biggest turning point on this website arrives. It’s Wednesday folks so time for our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!
What are your plans for the Memorial Day Weekend?
A.) The beach
B.) BBQ
C.) Quiet Family Times

I’m going with B. That’s the highlight is we have a Memorial Day BBQ, but we have other plans as the Sunday Group plans to go miniature golfing (weather permitting). What about you? Turkey friends enjoy your day. Have a great Summer Preview!

I think the answer is "C" this week. Nothing major planned. We're going to visit a nature park and if it's hot enough, I'm going to try and wade / swim the creek on Monday or Tuesday (I'm off work). I have to remember to bring my Croc's this time because last year I tried to walk the same spot and the rocks killed my feet!

Yep, exactly this. I even went out and bought a bunch of meat to grill only to be dismayed when I saw 75-90-70 percent chance of rain on Saturday, Sunday, Monday. If there is any break in the weather I’ll try to make it happen.
So my answer would have been B, but now it’s looking more like it’ll be C.

Happy Approaching Holiday Weekend! Today folks we move along and see that we have 189 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 164 days left until November and 103 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone set to arrive on Sunday with the 100 Day Marker till The Bers and the beginning of what we affectionately refer to as the “Summer Sweatfest.” It’s Thursday folks so time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving with it now standing at 27 weeks. You know what that means. We’re almost halfway friends. We’re really at the biggest turning point. You have the 100 Day Marker till The Bers, Halfway to Thanksgiving, 30 weeks till Christmas Week (coming up). It’s just on and on. All the milestones seem to converge right around Memorial Day Weekend every year. I think May “may” be my favorite non-Bers month when it comes to milestones. I hope you are doing well this week and that your week is stepping up today. I’m having my Friday today as I take a 4-day weekend. It has become one of my favorite times of year to take time off. The Friday before Memorial Day. I think it’s just become such a milestone day for me. And the turning point is about to be here. Have a great Approaching Holiday Weekend!

The term “Pilgrim” was around until the 1880s. At that time, Pilgrims called themselves separatists.
The word pilgrim literally means “a person who journeys to a sacred place for religious reasons.”
Meanwhile, a separatist is a group, essentially a minority group, that separates itself from a larger belief system.
That’s interesting and I didn’t know that. But you learn something new every day. That’s the saying at least. I’m here starting off a 4-day holiday weekend. This has become one of my favorite days of the year to take off. There is a very special feeling in the air today. Have a great Memorial TGIF!

We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone arriving tomorrow. It will be the 100 Day marker till The Bers. And it will also be the beginning of our Summer Sweatfest (despite a cool weekend). It’s Saturday folks so time for the 1st half of our Quiet Weekend Period and it should be a calm weekend but still going to keep busy doing stuff. Unfortunately, it looks like it will be a rainy weekend as well unfortunately. Not a fan of rainy holiday weekends but they seem to happen often, don’t they? I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday and making the most of it. And of course, tomorrow is such a big day for us friends. I look forward to it as I know all of you do as well. It should be a fun one and I hope you get ready for that big #100 that arrives tomorrow. Make the most of this as we seriously enter the special time of year when you can smile knowing we begin the long hot summer road back home to The Bers. We’ll see how hot of a summer we get but I’ll take it after the cold brutal winter we had this past year.
