DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 155
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 130
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 69

Happy Summer Mid-Week! Today folks we move along and see that we have 155 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 130 days left until November and 69 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone set to arrive tomorrow on Thursday. It will be Tom Turkey Day #7. It’s Wednesday folks so time for our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!

What are you most looking forward to in the month of July?

A.) CIJ
B.) 4th of July Day
C.) Heat/Humidity
D.) Vacation Time

For me this is easy and its B. I say this every year but the best non-Bers day of the year to me is July 4th. I love that day, the special feeling, the bbq, the fireworks, the hot dog eating contest and more. It feels like the most unique day of the non-Bers year. Superbowl Sunday would be up there too. Have a great Summer Mid-Week!

Everything EXCEPT "C".

B for sure! I love Christmas in July for a couple of reasons.
1. It is more Christmas! The music, movies, planning for Christmas itself, etc...
2. It is a milestone in the countdown to the season itself, one step closer.
3. After CIJ comes the Fall Preseason and the start of all things Halloween

It’s “B” for me, but my REAL answer is the secret option “E,” which is the 50 Day Preview of the Bers. That would’ve been a great replacement for option C because I don’t think anyone’s looking forward to the heat and humidity.

It's D for me. We will be going to our 2nd annual family reunion. I can't wait to see everybody!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 154
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 129
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 68

Happy Leon Day! Today folks we move along and see that we have 154 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 129 days left until November and 68 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving right here and now with Tom Turkey Day #7. Our next milestone will be in 4 days when we reach the 150-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. It’s Thursday folks so time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving. And it now stands at 22 weeks. Double 2’s friends. We are in a sweet spot right now of the year. Halfway to Christmas Eve/Day and really that’s just such a big turning point in the year. Of course, it’s very far away and we don’t want to rush towards it as that would include going through most of our beloved Bers. So, the Autumn Season stays safely in front of us and The Bers do too, which is a good thing for us. I always feel like things slow down after the 4th of July, but we’ll see how it goes this year. Sometimes you get into that heat and humidity for a good month where it just feels relentless sort of like in mid-winter and then it slows everything down. But we’ll stay cool with the 50 Day Preview of The Bers. I hope you are all doing well my turkey friends. Enjoy your day. Have a great Leon Day!

Tom Turkey Day AND Leon Day in the same day?! Someone pinch me; I’m dreaming!

This would be a great day to watch Miracle on 34th Street
I love it but I already feel behind on my daydreaming!

We are finally getting some much-needed moisture up here. Some of it has arrived in the form of softball sized hail, but moisture is moisture, and we'll take it. Before long, the dry heat of late July and all of August will settle in reminding us that summer still has a firm grip on things. Thankfully, there is a bright spot on the horizon. We know we're on the downhill slide toward the Ber's and all the sights, sounds, and anticipation they bring are getting a little closer every day. The temperatures may still be warm, but the calendar is quietly working in our favor, and that is more than enough to keep the spirits high.
Happy Leon Day!
