Happy July Weekend! Today folks we move along and see that we have 131 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 106 days left until November and 45 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone(s) set to arrive next week on Thursday (Tom Turkey Day #8) and Friday (100 Day Marker till November). Talk about awesome but that will be super awesome. It’s Saturday folks so time for the 1st half of our Quiet Weekend Period. And guess what? It’s going to be not so quiet here but fun hopefully. Going to visit my friend and his kids. They’re like my nephew and niece basically at this point. Fun kids but a handful. It should be fun though and I’ve been home enough the last few days with time off from work. I also have been taking Damian to the park, and we will get there both days this weekend like usual. 0 degrees or 100 degrees he still wants to go there. I hope you are all enjoying your day today and making the most of your Saturday. The best to you my turkey friends and I wish you well here on this summer weekend. Happy July Sunday! Today folks we move along and see that we have 130 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 105 days left until November and 44 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone set to arrive on Thursday with Tom Turkey Day #8 and the very next will be the 100-Day Marker till November. It’s Sunday folks so time for the 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period. I hope your weekend is going well so far and that you are enjoying it as much as you can. Make the most of it my friends and always do your best here this Sunday. The Sunday Group is heading to the city for a 2nd week in a row to a museum. I find Thanksgiving to be fairly economical. Stores usually have turkey as a lost leader, plus all the Thanksgiving produce is in season.
I definitely spend more on Christmas dinner, but Christmas has a larger variety of foods at my house. Thanksgiving is a theme meal, but at Christmas I try and have everyone’s favorites. Fortunately, no one has developed a craving for Beluga caviar.

It’s fun to see this one as from another country some kids get to experience Thanksgiving for the first time. And seeing their reactions on the food is a little fun. Something a little different today to start the day and week. Turkey friends I hope you are doing well to start the week and that you make the most of it today. I wish you well as we move along into a new week and really in the heart of summer without the extreme heat really hitting us now. That’s a positive after that crazy hot stretch we had earlier in the month. Some of the hottest weather we’ve seen in year. The best to all of you turkey friends. Have a great Jovial July!

I'm loving that its 61 degrees outside right now! I'm cautiously optimistic that the horrible high temps are done for the year. The long range forecast has the rest of this month being mild, with nothing worse than mid 80's, still with cool nights. Next month is really where the reward lies, so we will see if this upcoming August stays par for what we usually experience - warm, borderline hot days, but cool nights. It doesn't really matter though, the mental boost of knowing its Fall Preseason goes a long way!

Seeing videos like that reminds me that Thanksgiving is primarily a US and Canada thing. I forget that it’s not celebrated in November everywhere else. Hard to imagine heading into the Christmas season without Thanksgiving leading the way!

They're showing the same for us for the rest of July (below average) but then going above average for August (I've read this El Nino pattern coming will make for a warmer autumn but we'll see)!

We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone set to arrive on Thursday with Tom Turkey Day #8. The very next day we reach the 100-Day Marker till November. Amazing. It’s Tuesday folks so time for our Picture Day. It’s going to be a fun one as we are in the middle of summer looking at all pictures of Fall/Thanksgiving. That’s what we crave all year, and, in the summer, we can almost taste it. Yet it feels so far away from the heat. Although, my area has been nice the last few days so we can’t complain. We may see some thunderstorms today but that goes with summer like peanut butter goes with jelly. That’s the best analogy I can give right now. The best to you my turkey friends and I wish you well on Day 2 of the week. I hope you all enjoy your day. And that you all make the most of it here on this summer day.
