DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 124
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 99
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 38

Happy Final Week of July! Today we have 124 days until Thanksgiving, 99 days until November, and 38 days until The Bers. We continue through our Summer Sweatfest, with our next milestone arriving when August begins in one week. Yes, we still have a full week of July left. I always say January and July feel like the longest months of the year. Some people say it is August because there are no major holidays and it comes right before The Bers. Can we make October the longest month this year? I wish we could. It is Saturday, which means the first half of our Quiet Weekend Period is here. I hope you are all enjoying your day and your weekend so far. It is a great time to be in the middle of summer. Does it feel like very late summer, or maybe even very early autumn? Maybe the mornings have been a little cooler. Still, I have a feeling we have one more real hot stretch coming sometime in August. I am also hoping January brings us a few 50-degree days, because it is always nice to get a break from the cold, just like we sometimes get a break from the summer heat and humidity. All the best to you, my turkey friends, and I hope you enjoy your Saturday to the fullest. Make the most of it my turkey friends. Have a great Final Week Of July!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 123
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 98
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 37

Happy Julyish! Today folks we move along and see that we have 123 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 98 days left until November and 37 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone set to arrive on Saturday when August Arrives. Nothing beats a Saturday Milestone, does it? It’s Sunday folks so time for the 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period. Of course, the Sunday Group rarely has too quiet of a Sunday and we are heading into the city. We have our bakery, museum and dinner planned. Last Sunday we were supposed to go but due to flooding the museum closed and so we had to reschedule. So, we went miniature golfing which was supposed to be this Sunday. We just swapped the days. Good planning. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend so far and I wish you well here on this July Weekend. It’s a fun time to be here in the summer in this thread. Lots of summer ahead still but those counts above show some nice signs of things to come as they are starting to lower ever so slightly. The best to you my turkey friends and I hope you enjoy your day as much as you can. Make the most of it and have fun here this Sunday. Do what you must do and be what you must be. Have a great Julyish!

The final week of July is here! Fall Pre-Season lies just a stone's throw away. What a huge turning point this week will be! I've got the jitters just thinking about it!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 122
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 97
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 36

Happy Latter July! Today folks we move along and see that we have 122 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 97 days left until November and 36 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone set to arrive on Saturday when the month of August Arrives. That will be the final month that is not in The Bers. Amazing folks but today it’s Monday so let’s focus on it and our YouTube Day below!

Yes, it’s time to put up a parade. But going back 2 years. We had posted last year’s parade before, and I felt today was a good day to go back in time a bit to 2 years and post that parade. It looks awesome, doesn’t it? Turkey friends I hope you are doing well and enjoying your day as much as you can. It’s Monday and a new week. I wish you well and hope you have a great time today starting your new week. The best to all of you. It’s going to be a good week. I feel it. July has been quite a long month for me but in a good way. I hope The Bers months in front of us will follow that type of pattern for us though. Have a great Latter July!

I feel it too. There was a period where July did feel like it "drug" a little bit. But here in the last week I have a feeling this week is going to fly by. I'm ready for Fall Pre-Season. I think we all are. We can still enjoy the 2nd half of summer while be excited for what lies up ahead.

Have a great Monday!

Today is extremely busy here!

After a string of pretty crummy parades (thanks, COVID), the last couple of years have seen a decent rebound! Hopefully they go all out for the big 100th anniversary. I’d love to see some restorations of the vintage balloons and floats mixed in the lineup this year to celebrate the history of the parade. And of course Al Roker has to be there.
