Thanks everyone. They already found an apartment they love. Their application was accepted and they sign the lease tomorrow. I can not believe how fast this is happening. The apartment is only about 10-15 minutes away from me. They are super excited, I’m happy for them.

Our local Lowe's store has huge inflatable Halloween decorations, plastic pumpkins and other decorations out! Hobby Lobby is a dream-come-true, with all of the Fall and Christmas decorations out. Even the local dollar store has Halloween candy out.

I love it!

It’s going to be cloudy today with spotty showers and a high of 76 degrees. Not too much going on here. I’m going to help my daughter start the process of packing up all of her belongings. She may be moving in to the apartment with her fiancé as early as this upcoming weekend. They’ll find out the exact day when they sign the lease today. Ugh how did this happen so fast?! I’m so relieved they’ll be nearby!

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

I see that @Meceka needs some rain, but we've been getting flooded on every evening all summer, and last night was no exception. We were told that rain is unlikely for the next few days, but it sure fell in buckets last night. And, of course, Elizabeth is driving every evening going to play practice. Scares us to death!

But for now, we will have to let the anticipation be our guide and motivation.

In that regard, we present this:

Days to Christmas Day: 126

And as a further inducement to anticipation, we declare that as of today, we are a scant FOUR days away from the 2/3 marker to Christmas Day 2018.
Barely over HALF A WEEK!
(How can we have moved so far so fast?)

We had four inches of rain fall overnight with flooding in parts of Raleigh but not where we live. When will we get out of this monsoon season we seem to be in?
Well, the weather service says by tomorrow. (And we will hold them to it!)
For today, we have again started out overcast with a temperature reading of 74 degrees.

Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday!!! Not much up for today besides work. My hubby got the day off today - bum!! I told him he could do some cleaning at home since we have a family meeting at our house tonight! He's thrilled... ha ha!!

What an awesome early birthday gift!! I have only been to one Buckeyes game but what an amazing experience to be there!! I had so much fun at that game, as I'm sure you will both too! Go Bucks! O-H

It was a very nice gift...to both of us! I don't want to whine about it b/c I love the gift...but the last game we went too was in early Sept. & it was so hot in the stadium, people were passing out!! I just hope it's a bit more of a comfortable day! xx We've also been there with rain & a Michigan game with very wet all day snow!!! You never know what you'll get!

Oh yes! Every so often, they get the urge to wake mommy and daddy up thru the night, lol! Sometimes, they think they are on the race track running as fast as they can, chasing each other.

But usually after the first time, Jill gets up and closes the door. Me, if I’m asleep, a bomb could go off and I’d probably just roll over and go back to sleep.

Every once in awhile Shiloh will jump up in the bed, and start rubbing her head on my whiskers, purring and meowing, wanting some attention. So, after she has woken me up, I give her some scratching, petting and rubbing her head and then she’s happy and just snuggles up next to me and goes to sleep.

Too funny!! Cute!!! Crazy cats!

Wow...how exciting!! That did happen fast..at least she won't be too far.

Me too!! They also had out the Thanksgiving paper goods w/ plates with turkeys and cornucopias on them..made me so excited!! LOL Have a great day!

I agree - they sure are good!! I like it when I have time to start the dough the night before ~ makes the morning much easier!

Sinus headaches stink! Hope you are 100% better today!! I think I had a sinus headache too as it came on when the weather started to change in a major way.

I hope you are getting your expected rain. It rained yesterday 3/4" - then we had storms overnight. I didn't look this morning to see what was in the gauge. It's looking like rain now!
