For the first time, I've bought some sirloin steaks just for this momentous occasion. I'll put some sliced portabellas, butter and onions in some aluminum foil with seasoning and put them on the top shelf to slowly cook, put a few potatoes and some ears of corn on there also.
I've also been stocking up on some Johnsonville brats, hamburgers and dogs too! Mmmmmm, there's nothing like a grilled hotdog.
Hey, now that I'm thinking of it, It's been awhile for me since I have cooked on a grille, but do you or anyone else, have any ideas and recipe's on grilling that you used, tried, true and tested and you approve of? Thank you!
We like to dice potatoes in an aluminum foil pack, add some onion, bell pepper, onion soup mix & butter - then grill! YUM!!
For steaks we bring them to room temp, (my BIL the butchers tip) add seasoning (whatever is your favorite - we have a steak seasoning we use, can't remember what it's called) let that marinate in a bit, then grill them. Yum!!
For chicken breast, I cook them mostly on aluminum foil, but partially directly on the grill as well to get the marks/flavor! But the aluminum helps keep in the moisture. I also like to add buffalo sauce - or start out with marinated chicken breast!

ENJOY!!!
