We've avoided the rain for the past two days, but for the next several, showers are on the way. The U.P. has snow in the forecast. :)

Nothing too interesting for me today. I worked this morning. I am responsible for the makeup wall at my store now, filling it from back stock each week and working the delivery. It just became my department today so I had someone from another store helping me get it organized in the best way possible.
I went with my mom to Walmart tonight and we got stuck inside the store due to a horrible rainstorm. I was hoping to get to bed early since Mike has 4 hours of mandatory overtime,which means he won't get out of work until 3am

I love the house! Our neighbors have halloween stuff up too and I love to see it, as I secretly pretend it's for Christmas. :-D

I went to the school yesterday afternoon to help Elizabeth with play props. I thought I was just moving a few things, and suddenly I'm the prop master. I warned them that I'm dangerous with a hammer, but they wouldn't take no for an answer. That girl!

Happy Friday MMC! Yesterday we had the company BBQ and I found out finally that I was named a Co-Supervisor and got a 12% increase since my supervisor left in June. It feels good to kind of "move up" a bit instead of them just replacing her with another supervisor. Other than that, I'm ready for the weekend. Have a great TGIF!

Good Friday morning! Temperatures really dipped overnight, we're close to the freezing point this morning. I'm working the afternoon/evening shift today so I'll take some time this morning to prepare a Christmas poster to inform our employees that our district will once again collect money and Christmas gifts to help a local organization throw a Christmas party for underpriviledged families. I'll also wrap a box to collect monetary donations and find some Christmas antlers or something similar at Dollarama to wear when we talk about it to associates to (hopefully) get their attention and put them in the giving/Christmas mood. So it will a Christmas-filled morning! Hope everyone will have a great day!
 
woke to 1c (33f) this morning...definately brrrrrrrrrrr weather !
The leaves are turning a beautiful bright red, orange and yellow, and our first frost advisory has come on the weather app.
Off to work this morning. Going to fun at the store, nothing like a grocery store 3 days before Thanksgiving !

TGIF-happy Friday! Our first weekend of October and I took Monday off..so looking forward to a 3 day weekend. We don't have too many plans. My oldest daughter has a soccer game tonight. Then tomorrow I have to take my daughter to get alterations for her homecoming dress. Otherwise, it should be a quiet weekend. I would like to get some mums and pumpkins for my front steps.

Days to Halloween: 26 (Under 4 weeks to go!)
Days to the Season: 39 (Barely over five and 1/2 weeks left!)
Days to Christmas Day: 81 (Just over 11 1/2 weeks remain!)
(Soldiering right along, we are.)

And our next ** MILESTONE DAY **?
Well, that would be the day after tomorrow, Folks.
At that point, we will be commencing the Home Stretch to Christmas Season 2018.
(Incredible!)

The heat and humidity were back again yesterday and it felt much like we had returned to summer. Fortunately, this will be short-lived and it should be a bit more pleasant over the weekend.
Our current back yard thermometer inspection shows a reading of 70 degrees.
