Days to Halloween: 26 (Under 4 weeks to go!)
Days to the Season: 39 (Barely over five and 1/2 weeks left!)
Days to Christmas Day: 81 (Just over 11 1/2 weeks remain!)
(Soldiering right along, we are.)

And our next ** MILESTONE DAY **?
Well, that would be the day after tomorrow, Folks.
At that point, we will be commencing the Home Stretch to Christmas Season 2018.

The heat and humidity were back again yesterday and it felt much like we had returned to summer. Fortunately, this will be short-lived and it should be a bit more pleasant over the weekend.
Our current back yard thermometer inspection shows a reading of 70 degrees.

Happy Friday MMC! Yesterday we had the company BBQ and I found out finally that I was named a Co-Supervisor and got a 12% increase since my supervisor left in June. It feels good to kind of "move up" a bit instead of them just replacing her with another supervisor. Other than that, I'm ready for the weekend. Have a great TGIF!

Mmmmmboy ... today was the Fall Ball at the office. One of our employees made a huge batch of meatballs and sauce and tossed salad, and provided bread for meatball subs. It's an annual tradition here. So-o-o good!

I took a day off yesterday & took Mom & DD shopping for our annual Fall outing. Mom got some more of her Christmas shopping done. We drew names for stocking exchange too. Now I have an idea of things to look for. I need to ask what our nieces & nephew would like for Christmas so I can get started on those purchases too. Tis the season!

Thank you both!! I do feel better this morning than I did yesterday morning but darn these allergies!!! They are saying the mold around here has never been so bad before (In my lifetime) - I can tell. Whew!!!

Not unusual to have snow this early in the U.P. or even in upper lower Michigan.
Down here in mid-Michigan there is talk of snow before Halloween.

TGIF, Christmas friends!

It's a nice morning, but it's supposed to be 93°F by 2PM. Whew! I hope to go to the school to get some of the props that need work, and bring them to our house. I want to ride on my new mower again, too.

I hope I can have lunch with Mama today. She's been helping more lately with my brother's baby, and hasn't been able to break away for lunch on Friday's. We'll see.

Merry Friday!

Went to the Pumpkin Festival today. The court house lawn was covered in decorated pumpkins from scary to kitschy. Fun to see!

Was actually looking for garage sales. There were a few, but not as many as in previous years' festival week. In another town there was an estate sale ~ that was fun to go to. Found a few items for the store, but it was the view of the river from the backyard that really made the trip worth while. Gorgeous! All in all, it was a fun day!

The weekend has arrived. We had a PD Day today, which means that students weren't there but teachers did a bunch of professional development activities based on numeracy. Thankfully, my school was able to make it relatively enjoyable.

It's a long/holiday weekend in Canada. Kim and I will be driving to Cornwall tomorrow morning to celebrate Thanksgiving with her side of the family on Sunday. It's going to be a fun and delicious day.

While we're there, I will keep my eye out for Christmas Blossoming in the small town of Cornwall. They usually have some really neat Christmas decorations at the apple orchard. Let's hope they continue to not disappoint!

I hope everyone enjoys their weekend, whether you're celebrating Thanksgiving in Canada or Discovery/Columbus Day in the US... or just enjoying not working wherever you may be!

Merry Saturday MMC!
It’s going to be partly sunny today with a high of 67, we’re currently at 59 degrees. I’m just relaxing and having a cup of coffee right now. I already straightened up the house and started laundry. I have to do some food shopping later this morning. I’m also going to Target this afternoon to pick up a couple of things. We’re going to grill burgers for dinner later tonight and watch the Islander game. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Good Saturday morning! On my way to work where we have received our first Christmas merchandise, I’m so excited!!! And it turns out that my manager is also a Christmas fanatic, she even started listening to Christmas music in her car already. Hope everyone enjoys a great weekend ahead!
