Happy Tuesday! Today was just work and tomorrow night is my turn to close. Mike has to work 2 hours overtime tonight. Carolina and I are already in our pajamas to watch Rudolph. She is currently giving g my parents a fashion show
My best friend and I ordered tickets to see the Backstreet boys in August. We are 30 but want to feel like we are 15.
Please keep Mikes aunt, uncle and cousin in your prayers as it is difficult for them with their son/brother now at boot camp. I am glad he was able to fulfill his dream. After his sister passed last year we never thought he would go.
Tonight will be Christmas movies and Christmas books

Good afternoon to everybody. It has been a weird weather day for us, rain all night and snow this morning with winds. We are currently under a extreme winter watch for 12" of snow possible. Hope everyone has a great rest of there Tuesday.

I'm glad I was able to be at home, too! LB (Little Bad) Wan Kenobi, went missing during the storm, but showed up this evening, quite hungry. So happy he is home!
Several pine branches have fallen in the areas that are kept mowed, so there is a lot of clean-up to do. All in all, we fared quite well!

Merry Pines Day MMC ~
I have workers here again today, they weren’t able to finish yesterday so we are still without heat. They should complete the job in a few more hours and the heat will be up and running. I have people going in and out of the house so I’m keeping a close eye on Rocky and the kitty cats to make sure they don’t go near the door. Just wanted to pop in quick and wish everyone a nice day!

Another 17 ornaments made their way on the tree, last evening. This included an impulse pick - up, while getting a few groceries on the way home, that is a black and white Christmas sweater ball. It sticks out more than if it was colorful.

No New Kids for me. I was about 2-4 years old when they were big. My neighbor is goin to see them though. She has seen them each year they tour

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

It's COLD and blustery today, but it's supposed to be almost 80°F this Sunday LOL.

Nancy and I stayed on the road all yesterday evening, and when we finally got home, it didn't take me long to get ready for bed. When I awoke this morning, I found that Nancy had finished all of our Christmas decorating. Bless her!

Thank you! She is having a decent day today. We drive the kids to school - it was a little slow go this am, but hopefully it is better now. I'll be going to pick them up shortly. The biggest issue right now is the wind.

Good afternoon everyone! It is quite cold out, but allegedly will be in the 50's later this week. That kind of change in the weather usually makes my sinuses go crazy! We had the most beautiful snow falling last night. It was just a dusting, and is gone now, but boy was it nice to watch. I just made a batch of pecan fudge and will make a batch of reese cup fudge later. I'm starting to fill the freezer with Christmas treats to get ready to mail out to the friends and family that don't live close to me. I usually mail the boxes within the first week of December and I realized that is next week! So I better get moving on those! I hope everyone has a wonderful evening!

Kids love the song! Not sure why I'm liking it so much this year.

Strange; I like to shop in person; touch the item and retrieve it personally and exchange merry words with the sales clerk. Found myself checking out the shopping channel a few times during commercials, but never ordered anything from them.
Then again, I used to deliver Consumer Distributing catalogues and it's sort of the same thing; you would order from the catalogue and pick it up at a retail outlet. Kind of like Sears Wish Book - but different.
I've only bought 3 things on-line over the years.

Shopping in person is what I prefer, too, but I do buy some things on Amazon. The music and movie selections are far greater than anything I can find locally and it is the only place I have been able to find Palmer's vitamins since the pet stores quit carrying them.

Our city crews aren't too quick about clearing our sidewalks and never get the streets down to the grade level - always covered in snow (unless it has melted). I was joking with a co-worker about an idea I had for snowbikes like e-bikes, but with sled runners on the bottom and a handy spot under the seat to store your groceries or other purchases.
Remember if you see it on the Dragon's Den or Shark Tank that you read the idea here first.

That would be a neat invention!
The parking lots today were very icy. I didn't see any salt anywhere on them, so I think the storm caught everyone by surprise or ice removal wasn't in the budget for this time of year.
