Morning all. Hope everyone had a good Easter. Looking forward to a catch up very soon. It's been a bit crazy this year for me tbh. I've been looking for a change of jobs and applications and interviews have been getting me down I have to say. Hopefully better times ahead.

Happy Post Easter Week MMC! Looks like we have a beautiful day today with sunshine and temps in low to mid 70s! Wow. That's about as nice as it gets. That should be uplifting this Tuesday. Other than that just another day at work. And I don't know about all of you but hasn't April seemed like it's been 3 days long? This month has just been a blur. Have a great day!

May the right spot for you answer your knock at the door.

Good morning ~
Merry Tuesday!
It’s going to be sunny and warm today with a high of 68 degrees! Not too much going on here, I’m just having my coffee and relaxing for a few minutes. I’m going to take Rocky for a walk soon and then I need to pick up a few things at the supermarket. My daughter has off from school and work so we’re going to grab lunch and then we’re going shopping. Other than that I’ll be working on my daily chores. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!
xx

+g Good Morning Merry Chums! +d

Nice sunny day in my neck of the woods. Several birds cheerfully singing their songs with the odd raven squawking for whatever reason. Lots of Robins around here and I noticed one clipping along the railing of the balcony yesterday and this morning. Guess the ground is still a bit hard so it may have been taking advantage of droppings from the feeder or just paying me a visit.

I have some errands to run and housework to do and meet with my boss around lunch time and tackle the notion of returning to work tomorrow.

I will have to work on one project at a time to get this place spiffy; I fell behind on so many chores the last few weeks worrying about my husband more than the tasks.

O'Malley the cat has been having a hard time getting used to not having the "big daddy cat" around. Poor boy has been meowing up a storm. I gave him one of Gary's un-laundered shirts and placed it on his dog bed to give him comfort. He used a cologne called "G" that was pleasant a bit fruity not overpowering so my sensitive sniffer wouldn't get worked up into a migraine.

There weren't enough places open to find an Urn yesterday for his ashes so I'll be off to two places I thought of yesterday. I was able to find a few fitting items as part of his memorial table set up for our family style BB! picnic to celebrate his life on June 22nd and again on June 29th; two different cities and groups of loved ones. He wanted to make it easier for everyone to get together.

The local one on the 29th will be bigger than the other and hopefully taking place at the same venue where we had my mother's celebration as it can hold 85 people quite comfortably - could hold more, but I need space in case anyone wants to dance to the music that is playing.

My dad is heading out west at the end of the week. He has been wanting to go and visit three families out that way since my mom passed away (people who couldn't make it to pay their respects in person). He offered me the use of his place, but I don't want to avoid my home and memories. I'm not running away from healing thoughts.

Stay jolly! -surprise-

Yes...I was just saying that this morning, I can't believe how fast April has gone and we have a busy May too.

Happy Tuesday!! Typical work day for me and my oldest daughter has her prom on Saturday so we are doing some last minute prep for that. Tonight I am catching up on laundry and need to figure out what to make for dinner...maybe tacos? Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning, Friends.

Danger! Danger, Will Robinson!
Two major Milestones approaching!
Danger!

Well, we will deal with that "emergency" after we calmly review today's numbers:
Days to the Season: 204
Days to Christmas Day: 246

The rapidly approaching Milestone markers are, as you well know by now, the One-Third point to Christmas Day and the 200-Day Season Window.
The former will arrive in a scant 3 days and the latter in 4.
(They are indeed dangerously close!)

Quite pleasant here yesterday, with a high of 73 and still the low humidity. Plenty of sun too, with no rain.
Today will see us soar well into the 80's, again with dry conditions.
Our opening temperature reading here this morning is 54 degrees.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Everybody!

Good Tuesday morning! It's going to be another beautiful Spring day. I have some black bean and sweet potato enchiladas cooking in the oven right now and once they're done we'll head out for a long walk with Loki before David's physio later this morning. I have work later on as well. Don't mind working Monday and Tuesday evenings so much, it's usually very quiet at the store. Enjoy your day everyone!

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

Nancy and I went yesterday afternoon to the health screening that she insisted on. Everything is fine with both of us, as I figured. I think Nancy's getting a little mid-life-crisis-y on me, but if that's all that she does, I can live with it.

Later, we went to our nephew's church league soccer game, then Elizabeth cooked a very healthy and delicious dinner.

I'm about to go to a short ceremony at school to see Elizabeth inducted into the high-scoring senior club (the name escapes me). Then we're meeting Jacob for dinner this evening.

Meanwhile, the pool grows ever greener. I gotta get some free time!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Morning all. We had a nice Easter with the family and most of the leftovers are dealt with. There's a little bit more ham to be taken care of, so I'll have to think of a nice dish to use it up.

Good news. My SIL works for Hallmark and she told me that they have released the new Dream Book for 2019 already. Just click on the link to have a look.

Canada Post came out with some cool stamps too. Canadian desserts.

They all look so good. I'm tempted to get these for our Christmas card exchange, but these are only good for domestic mail. Still, it's cool to have something different than the usual stamp.

Took the dog for a nice walk this morning. We go to a little forested area so he can go off leash. Well, he found a nice wet spot with mud and dead leaves and had a good roll around. Needless to say he smells a bit. Oh well, he's happy and it's just a wash away from cleanliness.

Have a great Tuesday all. I'm off to run some errands and maybe make some of those desserts. :)

Those are definitely cool stamps! (The only thing cooler is if they had been scratch 'n' sniff.) I'd love to see Christmas stamps like that with different Christmas cookies.

We got our Hallmark Keepsake Club membership box last week & I forgot to post it here. DH will get all of the Star Trek ornaments, DD will get the granddaughter ornament from MIL, and DD has picked out which ornament she wants from my mother. There is some really need stuff in the Dreambook this year. I think we'll do our main tree in all Hallmark ornaments this year & DH can put the train on the tree. That means I get to use the multicolored lights!

DD's last band competition of the year is Saturday. Eighth grade graduation is mid-May. She has already signed up for Freshman classes. Only four more years of school! What path she chooses after that is up to her and I've told her I don't care what she does as long as she's either going to school or working!

Whitney,
Is it worth being a member of the Keepsake Club? What perks are there, besides knowing that the Dream Book has come out? :)
