Yes, Folks.
Tomorrow will be a ** MILESTONE DAY **, as we open the 100-Day Season Window onto the first of our DOUBLE-DIGIT count numbers, which always seems to signal an accelerating pace to our long-awaited and much-coveted Christmas Season!

We had a dry day yesterday, as rain took a holiday. It was warm, but not overly so.
Today should see us into the upper 80's with close to a 50/50 shot at precipitation. It will cool off to the low 80's tomorrow, still with a pretty good chance of rain.
This second and final day of the weekend has commenced here at 75 degrees.

Merry Monday
It’s going to be a beautiful day, sunny and warm with highs near 80 degrees. I’m heading out soon for my morning walk with Rocky. Back home afterward to straighten up the house and start laundry. I have to run a couple of errands at some point. I have to pick up something from the seamstress, stop at the bank and get a few things from Rite Aid as well. I’d also like to stop at Barnes & Noble while I’m out and browse around. That’s about it. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!!!

Good morning all!

We had a successful and fun trip up to Cleveland over the weekend. I always enjoy watching the Browns practice or play. It was really neat being able to look down and actually see someone I know playing professional sport.

Now it is back to the reality that it is August 5, and the first day of school is 2 weeks and 1 day away. I have a teacher workday on Friday the 16th. Guess I need to start getting some things done for school now.

And it arrived just when the countdown chart said it would.
Such punctuality!
Now we can begin counting to the Season tomorrow with a 99.
Wowzers!!

More rain yesterday, but nothing in the way of storms. It was a bit cooler, too.
Today is predicted to be in the low to mid 80's, with still a 60 percent chance of rain.
Our current temperature reading is 75 degrees here in the capital city.

I hope you are beginning this new week with a Marvelous Monday Friends, and that it will just keep getting Marvelouser and Marvelouser as the week progresses!

Less than 100 days to the Season tomorrow? Wowzers, indeed, Crown!

I'd say that we're only about a month away from signs of the Season beginning to sneak their way into stores. On the weekend, I found some very nice fall and Thanksgiving decorations at Homesense (think Marshall's for the US) in Ottawa. We truly starting to reel in the Season!

Not much is happening in Canada's Capital today. We are currently celebrating Civic Monday, which is a provincial holiday. Even so, I'd still be off as we don't start school again until September 3rd...

Well, I should get some stuff ready around the house and then head out for a run in a few hours.

Hi MMC'ers
It's funny how I spent nearly 7½ years coming here everyday and most days multiple times. The last 2 years I disappear for months at a time.
I am on vacation this week, took the boys to a museum where they have 200 million year old dinosaur tracks behind the building. It is not that big of a place but seeing the, and walking in the stride of one of the carnivore's tracks was awesome.

Merry Saturday MMC!
Not too much going on here today. I made a big food shopping trip earlier this morning and I’m just working on the laundry right now. I’m going to lunch soon with my daughter and then we’re going to Hobby Lobby. We’ll probably just hang out by the pool afterward and I’m going to grill chicken and ribs for dinner. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful weekend!!!

Good Monday afternoon, Christmas friends!

Mom had a doctor's appointment this morning in Jacksonville, FL, so I drove her down there. I just walked into the office. Whew, I'm tired of driving!

We spent Saturday shopping for furniture for Elizabeth's college apartment. It's fun to help her decorate, but it means we're helping her move out, too. It's really conflicting, but we can't hold back time, eh?

Lulu got her staples out this morning, and she's doing good, too.
