It was Broncos vs Falcons...I saw the last five minutes of the first half and a bit of the third quarter, this morning, while I worked out. It was a sloppy, whistle blowing, early pre - season contest.

Pre-season usually is! Lol

TGIF, Christmas friends!

I had Chinese for lunch and dinner yesterday. I'm chock-full of noodles. That's what Bernie wanted to eat, to celebrate finishing up his radiation treatments. I have to say, it was pretty good twice!

Hi all,
It has been forever since I have been here. I've been thinking of this place often, and I had to make a stop tonight because I couldn't stop thinking about it. I have been well, melting through this summer, I spent July listening to Music Choice Sounds of the Season Christmas in July. I can't wait until November when the Christmas music comes back on Music Choice.

FRIDAY - I made it through my first week back to work.
This is our Civic Holiday Weekend so I have Monday off. Might take in a concert over the weekend.
Realized last night when I pulled into my parking spot that I forgot about the sunroof in the rental I'm driving. I'll go for a drive after work to enjoy it before I pick up my car from the repair shop - hope it's ready tomorrow. They were painting the front end yesterday so I imagine it just has to settle / cure before I can retrieve it.

Nice weather expected for the weekend, possibly rain on Monday.

I got off work half an hour early so I took the rental for a drive with the sunroof open for fresh air; blaring some British Gold Invasion tunes - I didn't realize Bad Company was a British Band - learn something new every day, don't we? I was going to drive 30 minutes up the HWY for awesome fries and pickerel, but my car was going to be ready so I decided to fetch my car instead. Filled the rental up; only cost $16.00 so I didn't do much driving with it. Got my car back and turned on the Sirius tunes and guess what was playing - yeah, you guessed it;

O'Malley was so happy to see me when I came through the door, he screamed his "Mawww!" at me. I gave him a big hearty pat before I did anything else.

I just realized I only have a four day work week for the next five weeks. Then no vacation scheduled until October.

I stopped by the Christmas Store before I returned the rental and picked up a few goodies for my Christmas parcel - where they're going, I don't know yet. I'm off to a merry good start.

Good Friday morning! Temperatures cooled down yesterday with no humidity, what a welcome break! I fell asleep before 9pm last night so of course I was up at 4:30am today. Just relaxing before going into my last work day before my 16-day vacation. But I won't truly be on vacation until tomorrow night after our work Summer party. I'm aiming to finish early today, we'll see how that goes. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Hello all and Happy Friday!

Just got back from HS football practice. Time to relax for a bit.

Tomorrow we are heading up to Cleveland for the Brown and Orange Scrimmage. I hope to get some player autographs. A couple of years ago I was able to get 20+ autographs. Funny, most of those players are no longer on the Browns.

We are staying up in Cleveland Saturday night and going to the Natural History Museum on Sunday. It should be a fun weekend! Looking forward to taking a small vacation, even if it is just a weekend.

A getaway - is a getaway - however short; it can still help recharge our internal batteries.

Hi MMC'ers
It's funny how I spent nearly 7½ years coming here everyday and most days multiple times. The last 2 years I disappear for months at a time.
I am on vacation this week, took the boys to a museum where they have 200 million year old dinosaur tracks behind the building. It is not that big of a place but seeing the, and walking in the stride of one of the carnivore's tracks was awesome.

Happy 1st Weekend of August MMC! It was a long but busy week and we made it back to a Saturday morning. How great is that? And we are into August now. And guess what my mom saw yesterday in the store? HALLOWEEN decorations! First time. I can't believe it. Just a sign of things to come. Have a great start to your 1st Weekend of August!

Good Saturday morning! Day 1 of my vacation but I am attending our work Summer party tonight, so I won’t officially be on vacation mode until then. I’ve been asked to make desserts, so in this heat I think brownies and Rice Krispie squares should hold up well enough (I thought of making themed cupcakes but the icing would not take to this heat). I’ll bake some banana bread too for David and me, as our bananas are ripening at lightning speed. That will fill up my morning, then we’ll try and go for a nice walk this afternoon if it’s not too humid. Have a great day everyone!
