Merry Saturday!
I am enjoying a cup of coffee and a lazy Saturday morning..not too many plans today. Looks like another warmer day and I am hoping to get in some walking our airline trail today. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Good Morning, Weekend Dwellers.

And if you want to dwel on something, consider today's newly released data:
Days to the Season: 102
Days to Christmas Day: 144

Do eyes deceive, or will the 100-Day Season Window be here THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW?
(Wow! That was quick!)

More rain and thunder here yesterday evening after a warmish afternoon.
Additional precipitation is possible today before we get a break for tomorrow.
Our weekend-starting temperature is 73 degrees here at this hour and it's quite soggy.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone.
Relish your weekend.
(And don't forget the ketchup and mustard, too!)
Thanks Crown! Happy 1st Weekend of August!

Merry Saturday MMC!
Not too much going on here today. I made a big food shopping trip earlier this morning and I’m just working on the laundry right now. I’m going to lunch soon with my daughter and then we’re going to Hobby Lobby. We’ll probably just hang out by the pool afterward and I’m going to grill chicken and ribs for dinner. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful weekend!!!
xx

Hi MMC'ers
It's funny how I spent nearly 7½ years coming here everyday and most days multiple times. The last 2 years I disappear for months at a time.
I am on vacation this week, took the boys to a museum where they have 200 million year old dinosaur tracks behind the building. It is not that big of a place but seeing the, and walking in the stride of one of the carnivore's tracks was awesome.
I hope you all have had a great day.

How fun to walk in dinosaur tracks!
Have a merry day!

What a glorious week, Christmas friends! School is about to crank up, got to spend time with my best friend and our families at the zoo, FOOTBALL IS BACK, and now the icing on the cake......(as a drum roll starts playing in his head)....

WE ARE ABOUT TO HIT 100 DAYS TO THE SEASON!

Man, I can't wait. Went to Hobby Lobby for the first time since last Christmas yesterday. I almost go all teary-eyed looking at the decorations. My Mom was with us and she said to stop smiling so much. I couldn't help it, though.

It is quickly approaching. It really is. I know we just left the month of July behind, but we are getting so very close to the BERS...and when we hit the BERS...you might as well start cooking the dressing....

I'm super excited....

I hope everyone had a great Saturday!

Sounds like fun. There was a dinosaur park about an hour and half drive from here that we visited a few times with our parents. The sculptures were very realistic and I can still see clearly in my mind my favourite photo of the Stegosaurus biting my brother's butt; the one of me hugging a long neck's leg and my mom dancing with a T-Rek. Man-made tracks, but still cool. About twenty-five years ago the park closed down and I read that they sold off the dinosaurs; imagine your child having one in his or her back yard?

Indeed.
In fact, we can now say the Christmas Blossoms - 2019 thread will be debuted next month!

I saw lots of Halloween stuff out at a few shops and Christmas Ornies at the Hallmark store, but nothing else very merry yet. Won't be long and then people will complain the Christmas stuff is out too early. Not us; the Christmas Wackos look forward to those sights.

Merry Morning Keepers of Christmas All Year :ringy

Middle of my long weekend. Took a drive to nowhere after running errands yesterday. Grabbed pickerel bites and fries along with two types of delicious ice cream to bring home called Moose Tracks made by a company in Kawartha Lakes; good thing I brought a cooler bag with me to keep them frozen.

I watched a few films on TV and did next to nothing the rest of the day. Sometimes you just need to chill. For some reason I was really missing my husband yesterday. O'Malley encouraged me to give him a rub three or four times yesterday which is unusual; usually it's a quick touch in the morning and a hearty rub after I return from being out and about.

I'm meeting up with an old friend and her three children for brunch later today. They moved away many years ago after her youngest went through cancer treatments for a large tumour in her neck. Back then they wanted to be closer to Sick Kids Hospital. She's been healthy ever since.

Her husband passed away 8 years ago and she has a new partner who gets along great with her and the children.

Might go visit my dad after brunch unless they talk me into going to the Midway - I don't think so - I get too nervous about the carnies missing an important bolt or two.

Have a great day! Stay Jolly! :shakeit

Happy August Sunday MMC! We had some showers last night. But it was a nice Saturday and hopefully it will be a nice Sunday as well. 4 weeks from today is the Bers! That's amazing. Beyond amazing really. I hope you all have a great August Sunday!

Good Sunday Morning MMC !

I am still tired from our long trip and then jumping right into routine here again. Going to try and relax today after church. Fireworks tonight down by the river for our summer music festival. I will see if I can stay up that late LOL
But now I have some breakfast to get going so you all have a fantastic day !!

Good morning, Christmas friends! I'm up and at it...about to sit on the deck for a little bit before heading to church. Got some yard work to do today and then I will go buy some groceries and cook supper. Gonna be busy, but at least it is going to be cooler.

Y'all have a good one.

Merry Sunday!
It’s going to be warm & sunny today with chance of an afternoon shower or storm. Not too much going on here. I just started a pot of sauce and made a batch of meatballs. I’m going to take a ride out to the pasta shop to pick up raviolis and a loaf of Italian bread for dinner. I’m just relaxing and having my coffee right now. My husband and I are still car shopping so we may take a ride out later to look at a couple of more. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!
xx
