Christmas Countdown - 2019

Happy Tuesday!!
Looks like we will have a beautiful day in the low 70's.
Typical day for me...my daughter was supposed to have a soccer game last night but due to mosquitoes testing positive for Eastern Equine Encephalitis they are no longer playing at dusk. So her game was moved to today at 3:30. We need a good frost to kill them off.

Good Morning, Ninety-Niners!
And just look. BOTH of our counts now consist of TWO digits!

Days to the Season: 57
Days to Christmas Day: 99

Oh indeed, Folks.
The 100-day Christmas Day Window had its grand opening yesterday and now Christmas and its glorious Season seem even more imminent!

But what's left? What is the next marker?
Well, let's look at the chart - a very good place to start....and end.....our search.
Guys, it's the SEVENTY-FIVE PERCENT Milestone to Christmas Day and it will be here on Sept 25, just 8 days from today's date.
Already down to single digits and just ONE WEEK from tomorrow!
(Lord have mercy!!)

Today should be the last really summer-feel day we will have for a while, as tomorrow is supposed to top out at 79 compared to a predicted high of 87 today. Then 75 for Thursday. (I hope it comes with low humidity!)
Right now, we perceive 70.8 degrees on our digital back yard thermometer.

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

I had a very bad dream last night, so I've been up a long time. I hate when that happens.

We're having a job fair here today, hoping to direct-hire some folks who want to work. It's surprising the number of guys who go to the temp agency for a job, but when they come out here, some of them leave for lunch and don't return. Anyway, the boss wants me to help with interviews, but he implied that I should clean my office a bit. LOL I hadn't noticed, but it's pretty dusty and scattered.

Our dinner last night was super fun!

But I must wonder, why those worker are not coming back after lunch?
Is it that bad?

Good Tuesday morning! The sun is out and I have a day off, two good things. As usual there are chores and grocery shopping to be done and later this afternoon, I have an appointment at the periodontist. Hope everyone enjoys a fantastic day!

Merry Tuesday MMC!
It’s going to be a beautiful day, sunny with a high of 74 degrees. I’m heading out soon to do some food shopping. Back home afterward to work on my chores and I’ll walk Rocky again. I have a chiropractor appointment later this afternoon. I was seeing him a couple of years ago for my migraines and they improved so I’m hoping for good results again! I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

To be fair, it IS long hours, and the temperature & humidity can be pretty brutal here in the summer. Of course, I did it for a long time, myself.

We should have chatted on MMC in the middle of the night. I was up most of the night...not b/c of bad dreams, just couldn't sleep!! Hope you get a better nights sleep tonight!!!

We had a new guy who was supposed to start yesterday ~ never showed!
