Thank you, Sugar! I have a bunch of Christmas projects to work on on my days off, but I'll try not to overdo.
I finally saw the first Dolly Parton's Stampede Christmas commercial of the year (we go there every year for our wedding anniversary, which is in December). The Christmas lights are going up on the light poles in town today!
I have over 230 songs, everything from Michael Bublé to old classics (Bing Crosby, Perry Como etc) to The Nutcracker and Mariah Carey, with every type of Christmas music mixed in there.

In a few hours, we'll reach the 25 year mark. Whew! Before I married my first wife (don't ask; big mistake), I tried to get Nancy to go out with me...and she turned me down! I asked her out a couple of times, and she said no. So, I went out with someone else, got married then divorced. THEN she was ready to go out with me LOL.
Anyway, I'm glad she did!
And it's Elizabeth's 19th birthday today, so we're all going out tonight (in between her play rehearsals).

I went to the Christmas show several years ago, and it was awesome! they had a live nativity that lowered down from overhead...pretty cool!

Happy Traveling Towards Thanksgiving MMC! To think that 1 week from today is the big day that changes everything is just incredible. But we have a couple more days to go first this week and then we can really rev up for it this weekend with final preparations. Have a great Traveling Towards Thanksgiving Thursday!

It’s going to be a nice day, sunny with a high of 50 degrees. I’m just having my coffee and relaxing for a few minutes. I’m going to walk the dogs in a little while. I have a hair salon appointment later this morning. Errands and chores afterward. Dinner will be chicken parm & spaghetti. That’s it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Good Thursday morning! My vacation week is going by too fast. It will be sunny and mild all day, but rain is moving in tomorrow before temperatures will drop again, so it will likely be an icy mess Saturday mirning.
Yesterday I baked while listening to Christmas music again and the cinnamon swirl cookies turned out well. Today I may tackle maple meringue cookies. As much as I love baking, I rarely do it because there are only two of us in the household and most of what I do can’t be frozen. I do plan to bake and sell treats at work for the next three weeks, to help pay for the annual Christmas party that stores in our district put together for a local organization that helps families in need.
I also plan on deep cleaning our living room today, in preparation for the decorations and tree going up this weekend. I have to check our lights to see if we need to buy anything tomorrow before decorating. And I think I finally found decent outdoor battery-operated lights, so we may decorate our balcony for the first time.
