Thanksgiving 2021 Thread

Happy Tom Turkey Day, friends! We've been at it all morning, and most of the food is prepped and ready for the oven later this afternoon. My wife is working on her dressing as we speak, and my parents are bringing over an ALREADY COOKED HAM later (just to drop it off, no visitation thanks to COVID), which lightens our workload significantly. The last thing remaining is the braided mozzarella-garlic bread.

I put on Miracle on 34th Street earlier since it's got just enough Thanksgiving and plenty of Christmas.

Just want to Say Merry Christmas Eve to everyone here! For me, this is the best night of the year. So many great ones all year, but you can't beat the peace and magic of the night before Christmas. I mentioned two weeks ago that I like to count in two week segments. Well, it has been another two weeks so just wanted to note we are 2 segments down and just 24 more to go already to Thanksgiving 2021. Enjoy tonight and tomorrow!

Merry Christmas! Folks it's Christmas. What more can I say? I had the best night ever last night. There is something so magical about Christmas Eve night. And you know what brought us it? Thanksgiving really did. It started the road. Let's see where we are on this Christmas morning with the counts: 335 to Thanksgiving, 311 to November, and 250 to The Bers. A milestone on Christmas? Yes, indeed there is. We have reached the 250-Day Marker to The Bers. And yet we're technically still IN The Bers. That goes to show you how long they are. And I'm thankful they last this long. Thank you to CW for coming through on Christmas Eve with his video. And now folks on to Christmas Day. Our next milestone will happen 1 week from today when we see the arrival of January and begin our 2nd of 11 months back to November. Right now though folks I just want to stay in December on Christmas Day. Enjoy it the best that you can. Have a great and Merry Christmas!​

Merry Christmas, Thanksgiving-loving friends! Hope everyone who celebrated Tom Turkey Day yesterday had a good one. I enjoyed every bit of it, and the leftovers will be today's Christmas lunch and dinner! But this morning I'm off to grab donuts before the kids wake up!

Happy 364 Shopping Days Till Christmas! Well folks Christmas is over. But you know what? We still have a little holiday season left and I'm glad it's the weekend. I'm also glad for these 3 countdowns: 334 days till Thanksgiving, 310 days till November, and 249 days till The Bers. I'm thankful for those 3 counts for sure. I know you all are too. Our next milestone happens on Friday when we reach the arrival of January (and 2021). It will be the 2nd month back on the road to November. It will start up that 2nd of 11 months. Looking forward to it but NOT yet. I want to hang on to December. Let's enjoy the post festive feeling that this week can offer after Christmas. We get that opportunity here. Now for all you turkey fans I hope you are happy about your holiday season and realizing of course how Thanksgiving brought us all of it. Have a great 364 Shopping Days Till Christmas!​

100% agree with everything above. I'm totally ready too for 2021, and I'm not feeling bad in the least, so I want to use this emotional state to enjoy what remains of December!!

Happy Final Weekend of 2020! And indeed it is the last weekend of this year. What a year it's been huh? Well look at these 3 counts right now and see how the year coming to a close just makes them go a little lower. They are: 333 days till Thanksgiving, 309 days till November, and 248 days till The Bers. Our next milestone folks is on Friday when we reach the beginning of the 2nd month of 11 on our journey back to November (that would be January). And it will begin of course a new year and a new journey. We're all heading towards that direction. But my goal right now is to try to enjoy today as much as possible. I was listening to a guy say how he had a turkey for Christmas. Made me jealous (although my lasagna was great too). But it made me think of Thanksgiving (like everything else does). Have a great Final Weekend of 2020!​

Morning everyone. I scored a turkey and stuffing with gravy sandwich for breakfast. Ham n bean soup for lunch. Cant help but feel kinda crazy that everything is over for another year. How has the time gone by so fast? The kids reminded me that there was Christmas movies we never even got to yet.
