• Tracking Santa Around the World
Just finishing my snack of pumpkin bread and coffee on this cold winter day. A nice reminder of Fall, Thanksgiving, and the Bers.

Morning everyone. I scored a turkey and stuffing with gravy sandwich for breakfast. Ham n bean soup for lunch. Cant help but feel kinda crazy that everything is over for another year. How has the time gone by so fast? The kids reminded me that there was Christmas movies we never even got to yet.
I need to make a list for holiday shows next year. We never get to all of them!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 332
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 308
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 247

Happy Final Week of 2020! This is the last week of the year folks and actually the new year will start on Friday. And that's actually when our next milestone happens as we welcome in the month of January (2nd of 11 on our road back to November). Our 3 counts to start off this week are as following: 332 days till Thanksgiving, 308 days till November, and 247 days till The Bers. Oh it's Mondays folks. Did you forget what today is? We say how many weeks there are until the best week of the year which is Thanksgiving Week. And the weekly count is now down to 47 weeks till Thanksgiving Week! That's right down to 47. 5 weeks ago was Thanksgiving Week. That's almost 10% of the amount of weeks already. Yikes. Seems like only yesterday but the holiday season did go kind of fast didn't it? It was truly awesome though. Have a great Final Week of 2020!

Thanks Edge! I'm ready to get this week over with, and get into 2021. Like we said yesterday, we have no idea what the future will look like, but it should be a lot better than how things are right now!

The holiday season did go by fast but I did enjoy it, I feel like I was more thoughtful in how to celebrate and appreciated what I did get to do. I have a list of things that I love getting done this week each year (nothing fun- things like cleaning out and reorganizing the roll top desk, clearing out podcasts, etc...) but I am starting to feel excited about the New Year. I need to pick a theme for the year and continue adding things to my to-do list. One goal that I dropped the ball on during 2020 was trying new recipes for Thanksgiving, so I may even assign categories to each month to help me stay focused- January - appetizers, February- desserts, etc... Happy Monday to you all!

47 weeks! One thing I do know is that I will be watching very closely for news about the parade next year. If it's anything like 2020's parade, then I will for sure throw on my "substitute" parade (thanks, YouTube) and follow it up with "Miracle on 34th Street."
Its hard to say. They keep pushing the time back and acting like places have unlimited funds. Our luck Macy's will be bankrupt by mid summer.

Yeah nobody knows my friend what it will look like. I've seen everything from masks 4 life...to by March you'll be able to have a group of 100 friends hanging out like old times no social distancing, no masks, etc...to the virus will always be around...to by summer we'll reach herd immunity. I stopped reading all the experts/non-experts thoughts lol. Nobody could have predicted 2020 so I'm just going to live my life day to day in 2021 and see how it goes.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 331
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 307
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 246

Happy New Years Eve Eve Eve! Remember when I was saying those 3 Eves for Thanksgiving? That was the Monday when we started the best week of the year. And now here we are looking ahead to New Years. But here in this thread? We look ahead to Thanksgiving, November and The Bers all year long. Let's look at the 3 counts: 331 days till Thanksgiving, 307 days till November, and 246 days till The Bers. Our next milestone will happen on Friday when we reach our 2nd of 11 months (January) on our journey back to the wonderful month of November. It brings us everything including leftover Halloween, the Christmas Season, and of course...THANKSGIVING. Hope all are doing well this last week of 2020. Have a great New Years Eve Eve Eve!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 330

Happy New Years Eve Eve! 2 Eves left folks in the year. But think about what that will mean here in this thread. We will be able to say THIS year's Thanksgiving soon instead of NEXT year's. That's a big difference. These 3 counts are stated as the following: 330 days till Thanksgiving, 306 days till November, and 245 days till The Bers. Our next milestone happens in 2 days on Friday when we can officially say THIS Thanksgiving but of course that milestone will be the arrival of January and the beginning of the 2nd month on our 11 month journey back to that amazing month known as November. The best month of the year? I'd say so. No offense to December which is obviously the most magical month with Santa and all the Christmas magic. Tomorrow is Thursday so I'll be here with a poll for you all. Have a great New Years Eve Eve!

I usually enjoy turning the page on my calendar, maybe not so much in past years from December to January, but I do think it will be better this year and leaving 2020 behind, and being able to say "this year" will be fun!
