Thanksgiving 2021 Thread

Happy Winter Winding Down! It is winding down folks as you all know. Spring is coming. And that has to do with our next milestone date. First let's talk about the 3 counts: 266 days till Thanksgiving, 242 days till November, and 181 days till The Bers. That next milestone date is on Saturday, March 20th. That will be the double milestone day of the arrival of spring (the 2nd of 3 seasons back to Autumn) and of course the 250 Day Marker to Thanksgiving. That happens in 16 days from now. It will be a very special day indeed to have 2 milestones instead of 1. And both will be big. Now it's Thursday and our friend CW will take his turn and deliver a great video for us after my poll last Thursday. We always look forward to it as CW always brings us something to brighten our day. Happy First Friday of March! We made it to the first TGIF of the new month. And we made it to 3 more countdowns today. They are as follows: 265 days till Thanksgiving, 241 days till November, and 180 days till The Bers. Well folks our next milestone(s) are 2 weeks from tomorrow. They will be the 250 Day Marker to Thanksgiving & The Arrival of Spring (the 2nd of 3 seasons on our way back to Autumn). Personally, that's a big doubleheader for me. You don't see 2 milestones on the same day very often in any thread to be honest. It's cold out this morning but it's still late winter so it's not too uncommon. No rain or snow though. That's how I like my Thanksgiving is dry (but not my turkey of course). Thanks to CW for delivering for us again yesterday as he does every other Thursday. Now let's all focus on our Friday and our weekend ahead. Have a great First Friday of March!​
 
Turkey and Sausage Gumbo tonight! Like I said yesterday, I always think of this thread, and Thanksgiving, whenever we eat Turkey, or really even when we have a big family dinner.

We've got Easter coming up in just a few weeks now, so I'll get to feel those Thanksgiving vibes again soon. It will feel good!

Happy March Weekend! We made it to the first weekend of the month of March officially folks. And we look at our 3 countdowns to start this morning. We have 264 days until Thanksgiving, 240 days until November, and 179 days until The Bers. Our next milestone(s) are in 2 weeks from today with the arrival of spring & the 250 Day Marker to Thanksgiving. Anyone notice anything this morning? I just did. It's not an official milestone or anything BUT do you realize that on Thanksgiving Night we started the countdown at 364 days until Thanksgiving and now? Look up. 264...100 days ago was Thanksgiving folks. WOW. That's amazing isn't it? In a way it does feel like a long time now but that still amazes me for some reason. And I think we're kind of in a good spot now with spring ahead of us and winter starting to slowly fade. Have a great March Weekend!​
