DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 217
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 193
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 132

Happy Adapting To April! We have a major milestone today folks and a poll. First let's get to the counts: 217 days till Thanksgiving, 193 days till November, and 132 days till The Bers. Today's milestone? It's Tom Turkey Day #5! Woohoo we made it folks. And to celebrate we have a poll below. Our next milestone will be when we celebrate the Arrival of May which will be the 6th month of 11 starting up since November. That's incredible. We'll be Halfway to November 1. Amazing. Now time for our poll:
On Thanksgiving Day how much do you normally eat for dinner?
A.) 1 plate
B.) 2 plates
C.) 3 plates
D.) I stop counting at 3 plates.

For me I go with B. I normally have 2. How about you? Have a great Adapting To April!
A.
But our plates are huge. And I heap things on top of one another.
Now I'm hungry for a Thanksgiving meal. All those flavors just went thru my mind. :)

I eat one plate. I am the primary dinner fixer so by the time it is all ready, I am heaving a sigh of relief and not really into eating, I get too caught up in making sure everything is perfect (I know, not healthy) that I am not really hungry but don't worry about me---I am a lover of Thanksgiving leftovers.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 216
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 192
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 131

Happy Feeling Friday! We are moving ahead now towards another weekend here in the spring folks. And we're moving ahead towards 3 more countdowns which are as follows: 216 days till Thanksgiving, 192 days till November, and 131 days till The Bers. Coming off a milestone yesterday it's amazing to see we are only 8 days away from the next one which will see the Arrival of May which will be the 6th month since November and the Halfway point to it. Pretty incredible isn't it? I think so as well. I'm glad we got so much participation yesterday with the poll. Any poll when it comes to Thanksgiving mentioning food always seems to just fit doesn't it? That's what Thanksgiving is about after all. Now we'll all focus on our weekend ahead just like we'd focus on a plate of stuffing and turkey. Eyes focusing on it. Have a great Feeling Friday!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 215
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 191
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 130

Happy Last Weekend Of April! We are just enjoying these 3 counts right now aren't we? It's been fun lately and will continue to be for a long time to come. Our 3 counts are as follows: 215 days till Thanksgiving, 191 days till November, and 130 days till The Bers. Our next milestone? It shall happen 1 week from today as we welcome in the Arrival of May which will be the beginning of the 6th month of 11 starting on our journey back to the glorious month of November. It should be a lot of fun for sure. But we need to focus on THIS Saturday first of course before we can even think about going forward and looking at anything beyond. It was a fun week with a great milestone and poll. Everyone here made it fun by contributing. And now we all need a weekend to relax and soak in the turkey and gravy (at least in our minds). I'm just hoping everything will work out for all of your weekends. Have a great Last Weekend Of April!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 214
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 190
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 129

Happy Late April! We are enjoying our weekend I take it? I sure hope everyone is. And we have the 2nd half to go still of it. But first we have 3 countdowns to get to: 214 days till Thanksgiving, 190 days till November, and 129 days till The Bers. That's 3 big countdowns but they are all shrinking by the day. Scary isn't it? Our next milestone will take place on Saturday when we welcome in the Arrival of May which is the 6th month starting up on our journey back to November. 6/12 is 1/2 if you do the math so yeah to be Halfway to November will be pretty crazy won't it? But first we have to enjoy today and the coming week. Lots to do and have fun with. Maybe dream of some November activities. Is it too soon to do that? I've seen news on next year's parade more than this year's. Funny isn't it? I guess they're always planning ahead like we are here in this thread. Have a great Late April!

I've been thinking about Thanksgiving a lot recently. Specifically the Macy's parade. I'm thinking maybe now that they will allow some form of attendance / spectators. I used to think such a thing would never be possible ever again, but with so many states slowly inching back to "normal", I feel more confident than ever that this holiday season will be a lot more of what we were used to.

We got word yesterday that our town's Memorial Day parade and our September celebration (parade, carnival rides, foods, fireworks) is on for this year. They were both cancelled last year.

Yes I agree!
