Halloween 2021 Countdown!

Good Morning Halloween Friends!
We had cool weather again last night. My best friend called me, and he was happy to tell me that both his brother, and Father felt exactly the same way about last night, that it felt like, Halloween!
I didn't notice it as I wasn't outside, but I went outside, and holy cow, were they right. Everything was so Halloween like, the temperature, even the sky and how the trees were rustling from the light breeze! I came back inside and we talked about Halloween for a good 15 minutes. It was fantastic. It made me really miss Halloween and The Bers. Thank goodness we have another JOL Day coming up this month in a few weeks.
I did go to Hobby Lobby last night, but didn't see any more fall stuff out. I DID see though that there are a lot more empty clear plastic tubs out on the top shelves, and my wife felt that maybe they were there because they were going to box up the old seasonal stuff so that they could bring out Christmas & Fall stuff. Gosh I hope so!

We have the Disney+ Hulu bundle already, so this is a nice little Halloween gift. But my free 3 months of Apple TV+ will run out before the Bers, so I'm going to have to sign up if I want to watch the Peanuts holiday specials...
I have all the Peanuts specials on DVD, just need to make sure I have a functioning DVD player ready for October. I blamed the drywall dust for killing the last one but to be honest it had a lot of years on it. The Muppets may get me to use the free trial, or maybe I'll get a chance to babysit for my niece's kids during October! LOL!

Definitely not just you. I tried to log on earlier this morning and was greeted by an error page. It definitely scared me a little bit! At worst I thought it was a DDoS attack; glad to see my fears were unfounded.
It's not lost on me that we typically talk about scary, spooky stuff in the Halloween thread, and perhaps the scariest possibility of all is that MMC gets taken down.
You do kind of get that sinking feeling when the site goes down. Only because you really have no way of finding out what's going on. It can be caused be a multitude of things. I run a few websites myself and it puts me into a panic when one of them go down. But it doesn't happen very often.
Michelle and I were talking a little about Halloween decorations today. I told her of my plan to get an inflatable pumpkin. She liked the idea. She said it just can't be 12 foot tall.

Good Morning! It's nice to say Good Morning, yesterday was kind of different posting in the afternoon. Thank Goodness MMC came back up, to be totally honest with you, my whole day felt weird not being able to post on here!
Happy Mothers day to all! Today is special because its Mother's day, but it is also special as we reached the 200 days to Thanksgiving over in the Thanksgiving thread. And with the kind of weather we had / are having this weekend, it is hard to not feel like it is Fall. The only thing missing obviously is the leaves turning colors and of course the "filter" on the Sun! But it will be back soon enough. WELL under 4 months now until The Bers are back!
I'm looking forward to more Hobby Lobby runs in the coming days / weeks as their fall collection grows. And of course we have another "Dark Arts Sunday" this month, and JOL Day coming up in about 3 weeks, so thank goodness I can "top off" before going into the "long" part of the summer.

Rainy, overcast, and a high of 39, and a Sunday- is this a preview for Halloween? Sure doesn't feel like Mother's Day. 25 weeks from today, Halloween will be here and this weather might be expected, but at least it would be Halloween. I hope the weather is a bit brighter for all the Mother's out there.

So we were down at Walmart this afternoon in the men section getting our son new clothes .. I still can't over the fact that he now has to get his clothes from the men's section
