Thanksgiving 2021 Thread

The anticipation continues to build. I can't wait until we are on the down hill side of the Thanksgiving countdown. That's in 2 weeks, right?
 
DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 195
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 171
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 110

Happy May TGIF! We are ahead now folks to the next segment of our week and that would be Friday. Woohoo. Everyone loves Friday right? Well here's 3 reasons to love it this week: 195 days till Thanksgiving, 171 days till November, and 110 days till The Bers. Our next milestone is the one we've been hyping here big-time and that would be the 100 Day Marker Till The Bers which will also fall on that Monday, May 24th where we will reach the Halfway Weeks Till Thanksgiving Week Countdown. Think about that folks. Oh man. I really do love that weekly Monday countdown. As much as is this is the Thanksgiving Thread it really is that WHOLE WEEK that is what we love. We've talked about it before. Thank you to CW for his great post as he always delivers for us every other Thursday. I appreciate it CW and I know everyone here does. With masks starting to be dropped now can we see a bare-faced full crowd at the parade this year? I think that we have a good chance. And I never thought that earlier in the year. Have a great May TGIF!​

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 170
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 109

Happy Mid-May! Another weekend is here folks and so let's get right to the countdowns this morning. It is going to be a fun one for sure. We have 194 days till Thanksgiving, 170 days till November, and 109 days till The Bers. All 3 counts are looking good. Believe it or not in 9 days folks we will reach maybe the biggest Non-Bers day of the year in this thread. It will be the 100 Day Marker Till The Bers (huge milestone) and also it will be the Halfway to Thanksgiving Week Marker. I mean that's not an official milestone but this weekly countdown has become big this year in this thread. We've all enjoyed it. It's been a fun thing for sure. But let's not think about Monday folks. It's the weekend! And we need to enjoy it with a turkey smile on our face. And now you can start to see people smiling a little more as things are getting better out there. Let's hope everything continues on that track right up to turkey day. And that's what we all hoped for last year. Have a great Mid-May!​
 
@Edge612 , on Friday our Governor allowed the state's mask mandate to lift at 12:01 AM, and he is not going to renew the state of emergency executive order that runs out in June. VA is letting all remaining pandemic restrictions expire on midnight at May 27th. I never thought I would see this happen. No politics on here but lets just say it is extremely uncharacteristic for a state like ours, being what it is, to have both mask mandates and restrictions lifted.

I bring this up because I am actually thinking now that we will see the Macy's parade this year with spectators! And this comes on the heels of several NFL teams who have announced full capacity. Guys, I think this Fall is going to be what we remember!!

It really is true, CGM and and Edge and I am so grateful to be here. I usually dread May, partly because in the past I let it be overbooked and too hectic, but mostly because it felt so far from the holidays, now I focus on everything we have to look forward to.

I didn't think we'd be moving along this well either. I really didn't. But it feels amazing!

DAYS TILL THE BERS: 108

Happy Middle Day Of May! Oh yeah folks its into the middle day of the month now. 15 behind us and 15 ahead of us after today. Our 3 countdowns though? 2 of them are more than halfway. The following are the stats: 193 days till Thanksgiving, 169 days till November, and 108 days till The Bers. Yeah all 3 counts look good and continue to move well in the correct direction. That's the way we like them right? Our next milestone will be in 8 days (1 week + 1 day) from now when we reach the 100 Day Marker Till The Bers. That is going to be such a huge milestone. I really am looking forward to it folks. It's one I've had in the back of my mind for months now. On that day we will also be Halfway to Thanksgiving Week with our weekly countdown we run here on Mondays. That might be too much excitement on that day. Luckily we have today to enjoy and a full week ahead before getting there with too much excitement. Have a great Middle Day Of May!​
