**MILESTONE DAY**
Good Morning Halloween Friends!!
Today we reached the "Final Fifty" in our Halloween Countdown. What an amazing day. Friends, we are truly in the "sweet spot" of the year now, and seeing daily the rapidly increasing signs of the coming Holiday season, I can't imagine anything being better, except maybe being in Christmas season.
We are being blessed with cool weather that I really think is here to stay the rest of the season.
Shudder continues their excellent "61 days of Halloween", I think there has been something good on TV every night the past couple of days. Looking forward to seeing what is on there tonight, when I'm relaxing on the couch, with the fan blowing! Life will be good!

THE FINAL 50!
Nothing much to do now except sit back and let the Feels come. I hope time slows down some; we always talk about how the final 50 just breezes by. I don't want that to be the case here.
I hit the jackpot on YouTube this morning and found a channel that posts a ton of vintage autumn and Halloween music. Here, for your listening pleasure, is one of their Halloween selections. Just let the Feels wash over you:

I was tempted to buy try some more seasonal Oreos but since the temps have warmed back up I went with Drumsticks, not quite seasonal, but fun just the same and the name makes me think of turkey!

As you can see above, some very spooky counts today. It is truly alarming to see October almost on the horizon now. September is going by WAY too fast!
I've been just enjoying the ambience of having the house fully decked out for Halloween, along with the "61 days of Halloween" on Shudder, and the return of NFL football. In just TWO weeks, I will be putting up my "Halloween Lights" on the bushes outside, which will mean that our house will have holiday lights of some kind for nearly the next 4 months!!
Like Edge said, this is the final week of Summer! Summer ended for me a while back, but for others, lets enjoy that final week!

I saw Count Chocula and FrankenBerries at Walmart last week! I used to LOVE FrankenBerries!
Our Walmart had Boo Berry too. AND they finally put out the Halloween candy!
On the other hand, a LOT of the usual groceries were sold out. I don't know if it's supply chain or people just buying up in the event that this tropical storm becomes something bigger (or probably a combination of the two), but there were multiple empty aisles last night.
How was it?
I thought it was solid but nothing great. Worth a watch if you have hbo max and enjoy the horror genre.
I think there are more people like us than I ever realized! I had already been seeing quite a few Halloween and Fall outdoor decorations on my drive to work and then today... BAM! They are everywhere! It seems like the smaller inflatables, 3-4 feet, are very popular.
