So I looked today and they had 3 rib prime rib roasts at the store. $95.00 each. I honestly could eat a 3 rib myself. Prices are unreal.Wow, that price kind of makes me want to throw up. But then all kinds of beef have become so expensive.

I miss pumpkin season!Always "A" for me. The leafs change, air gets crispy, my apple cider beer makes its return and the kids refill their pumpkins.
A it is!I think I am making it unanimous with another A.
I'm gonna need a backup plan for Easter if the prices don't come down between now and then...So I looked today and they had 3 rib prime rib roasts at the store. $95.00 each. I honestly could eat a 3 rib myself. Prices are unreal.
I didnt look yestetday at the price per pound but I checked today..16.99 pound. I would buy a roast and pretend its prime rib first..lolI'm gonna need a backup plan for Easter if the prices don't come down between now and then...
Here's an interesting take on that. If everything shifted to October, then that could be the lead to Halloween, then after Halloween, everyone could shift into Christmas mode because there would be no other holiday to "get in the way" of Christmas. 2 WHOLE MONTHS of EVERYONE, not just us Christmas fanatics, in the Christmas mode. Just a thought. All we have to do is ask our friends up north. Their Thanksgiving is in early October. It would be interesting to get their take on this subject.
As for me, ARE YOU CRAZY?! NO THANKSGIVING IN NOVEMBER!
I don't know if my brain can handle that question. I'd rather have you take away my birthday. It is very much a part of my Christmas and would hate for that to change. I think I need a drink now.
I would jump at a ham and baked potato bar anytime, anywhere. At 16.99 a pound I think I might consider ham and a Baked Potato Bar, which I have always thought was a fun idea but has been soundly rejected whenever I bring it up.
When I was visiting Canada before and after the Canadian Thanksgiving and the day after, they had some Christmas commercials on, I had the same thought. Here's an interesting take on that. True! But it would make for a shorter autumn season which I love...I think the way it is though is perfect! Here's an interesting take on that. Those kids will have you putting up pumpkins by the 4th of July next year!I used to decorate for Christmas in early October just because my time was taken up with hunting trips until Thanksgiving week. Now the kids want Halloween up by mid August..lol (somehow they sneaked their scarecrows on a stick up already and a cinnamon witches broom) Now I just go with the flow..Christmas totes are numbered and arranged.
The retailers are already on that schedule. LOL.Here's an interesting take on that.
