Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Thursday, At long last, we have the weekend in view again. But before we get to the weekend, we have to pass through FRIDAY THE 13TH. It will be our first truly dedicated Spooky Day since Halloween Season 2022 ended. Whatever you end up doing tomorrow, I hope you enjoy it and you can get some proper Halloween feels.
I am going to be visiting Camp Crystal Lake and seeing how our old friend Jason and his mother are getting along. I don't think I have honestly saw a Friday the 13th film since around the very last week of September, or very Early October. I can't understate that I lost about two whole weeks of October because of the whole ordeal in the hospital, and the subsequent week after as we were adjusting to our new life. So it will be really nice to have a dedicated time tomorrow to just sit down and enjoy it for a little bit.

Happy Friday the 13th Folks! Our first true "Spooky Day" since Spooky Season ended in 2022.
Friday the 13ths are just awesome. Most years you only get one, sometimes you get two in a calendar year, and very rarely, you get to have THREE. The last time we had THREE in a calendar year was in the year 2015. The next time we will have three again will be 2026!
Today countdown-wise also means that we are exactly SEVEN DAYS from the 100 Days to Halfoween milestone. See how fast they seem to be going? January seems to go by slowly but in here the countdowns seem like they are picking up speed, especially as we approach Spooky Spring(tm)

Just two weeks I was languishing in the post xmas blues....and just like that it's already our first Friday the 13th! Huzzah. Stuff like this REALLY helps, doesn't it? Today I thought I'd take a cue from this countdown and watch a Harry Potter movie. In fact, I'm going to watch one per month, which will take me into the Halloween season. I love it when a plan comes together.
It's spooky time! I think during work today I'll listen to some of the Silent Hill soundtracks and maybe Ambient Mixer if I'm so inclined. "The Scarecrow" is one of my favorites on there.
Seriously, it seems like forever since we last got to celebrate anything spooky or scary. I'm glad we get a double-dose in January!

Then when I came home, I did indeed venture back to Camp Crystal Lake by watching "Friday the 13th".
I burned a fall candle last night for a little bit too, the only thing missing was the electric Jack O Lanterns, which I am saving for Jack O Lantern Day, because I wanted it to still be special! But yes, I enjoyed Friday the 13th very much. It was great to have a little bit of spooky back for just a little bit.
Folks, our next milestone will be in six days from today, when we will reach 100 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN. 10 days from today, we will reach 250 DAYS TO OCTOBER. Our counts really seem to be flying even though January feels like it has slowed a little bit.

Friday the 13th was an absolute joy. It was fun listening to some spooky tunes yesterday during work. It brought back all kinds of feels, especially since it's been months without a Halloween celebration of any kind. I didn't watch any Halloween movies or shows this time, but I'll start thinking about what I'm going to watch for JOL Day at the end of this month.
I forgot how many people think Friday the 13th is a bad omen, I got a few weird looks when I wished people a "Happy Friday the 13th"!
