I MSN'd a friend today to let her know there is only 337 days til Christmas ~ she thinks I'm nuts & I'm ok with that! :D
Well, that's a good thing, Holiday, since being a little nuts is a requirement to be a member here!

Good Morning, Friends.

Let's get straight to the count:
Days to the Season: 295
Days to Christmas Day:337
Exactly 3 weeks until the 1/4 Season milestone marker arrives!
Time's a passin'!

Still a Winter Wonderland outside although all the snow is off the roads.
I kind of like it that way - the dark winding roads etched through the white snow.
We should lose most all of it today, though, with the temps expected to reach close to 50.
Currently, we stand at a snow-preserving 24 degrees here in Raleigh.

Have a Thrilling Thursday everyone, keeping in mind that it's Friday Eve.
(Now, let that carry you through the day!)

Hello Everyone, speaking of movies (Track!) we watched Wall-E for the 1st time...I loved it!!! Tonight I think I'll watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.....a few good laughs would be nice. Have a great day everyone!

Hope every one is having a great day! Took advantage of the nicer weather and did some shopping - found Christmas totes clearanced so I stocked up. I so love a good deal but not as much as I love the quarter mark being so close!! :snowball:

I think my daughter would like to see Wall-E too...but those movies are too long for her....a series of Wall-E would be great for her.......btw.....she wanted to watch Rudolph (the stop-motion) the rednosed reindeer.....:D...I loved it so much

Well, with Valentines Day approaching, I would suggest the Mauradio Sugar Cookies with red and white plaid frosting. Carl plans to stock up with them soon at the Shispering Pines.

Good evening! We had a heat wave come through today...was all the way up to 35º & tomorrow is supposed to be 37º!! :o That's almost 60º warmer than it was a few days ago!! Lol!!

Hubby is bowling tonight, so I thought I'd stop in & say a quick hello - hope you all had a great day!!!

:merry:

Good Morning!
Looks like Track, Pinkini and I are the only ones here so far today.

On with the count, anyway:
Days to the Season: 294
Days to Christmas Day:336
Under 3 weeks now until the 1/4 Season mark!
Not too much of January left. We are moving right along.
(I always feel just a tad warmer mentally, once January has been left behind!)

Cold here again this morning, but calm and sunny.
We stand at 33 currently, but are supposed to reach into the 50's by this afternoon.

After years of waiting for its reappearance on TV (or its initial appearance on DVD) to occur, I finally gave up and bought a used video tape of the final Christmas movie I wanted to add to my permanent collection: "It Came Upon The Midnight, Clear" with Mickey Rooney.
Will save it to watch during Chrismas Season 2009!

Have a Fabulous Friday, Folks.
And may your Weekend get off to a Wonderous start this afternoon!
(Big plans, anyone?)

Hello my friends...Youcan trust that even if I don't post, i am reading every post, everyday! Just wanted to jump in and say hello, wish everyone a good weekend and let you know that it seems like time is flying even faster this year than last year...Christmas Eve a month back already!!! the start of the season a full two and a half months back! It'll be here again faster than we can imagine!

Jay

Good morning!!! It's a beautiful Ohio day...sunshine & snow on the ground! Supposed to get up to 42º now today! But back down to a high of 20 for tomorrow!! Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!!!

Good Morning, Christmas Lovers!

Jayish -- I agree! This year is zooming by! Two and a half months already since the start of the season, 2008! Wow!

I saw a ladies' fashion report on TV this morning -- and the big thing is PLAID TWEED! they showed a beautiful plaid tweed jacket -- and how to pick up some of the colors in the plaid tweed - in the rest of the outfit. (Purse, shoes, etc.)

Hurray for plaid!!!!!

Also - the first Rudolph Day of 2009 is this Sunday, January 25th!!!

Celebrations may be held at any time, though!!!

This is my first year for doing the "Rudolph day" thing

It will be fun!
I plan to give an anonymous Christmas gift every month, wrapped up in Christmas paper with a bow.
I have the gift and just have to wrap it and decide who to give it to.
