DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 316
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 290
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 229

Happy Mid-January! Today folks we move along and see that we have 316 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 290 days left until November and 229 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone coming in 8 days when we reach Tom Turkey Day #2. We move along with our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!

What month do you like the most in the 1st quarter of the year?

  • January – A Fresh Start, leftover Christmas lights, NFL Playoffs
  • February – Superbowl Party, President’s Day, Valentine’s Day
  • March – Transition from Winter to Spring, Baseball and Lighter Days
  • I don’t prefer any of those 3 months over the other
  • I’m going with C. March is my favorite of the 3 for sure especially since I’m a milder weather/spring type of person. But yeah, I also have come to enjoy January and February for several of the things I listed. Gobble Gobble to all of you my friends here in the middle of the week. Have a great Mid-January!

Years ago I would have said February, but I think now March is my favorite. The weather is finally letting up (or has been let up if you get an early Spring), and you get to spend much more time outside. I don't feel cooped up as much. I prefer being busy on the weekends to lounging around but the lounging around / downtime is much appreciated!

Gobble Gobble, we're just a hair over one week away from Tom Turkey Day!

I’m going to say February. In addition to the things that Edge listed, we also get Groundhog Day, which I strangely look forward to. Also, February is just far enough removed from last Christmas to where I’m not really feeling the PCBs anymore, and we’re also to the point of hitting some key milestones by then. Finally, next year we will have the Winter Olympics, which is always a highlight for me.

MARCH (C)! St Patrick's Day parade weekend Irish breakfast is second only to Thanksgiving on the holiday meal hierarchy for the extended family! It is the official end of the dark season.

You can add that spring is at least in the early stages by the end of the month.

March can be 30 or 70!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 315
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 289
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 228

Happy Middle Day Of January! Today folks we move along and see that we have 315 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 289 days left until November and 228 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone arriving in 1 week when we reach Tom Turkey Day #2. That will be big but also what is big is today’s Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!

Everyone misses Christmas in January. But nobody misses Thanksgiving. In fact, when Thanksgiving ends it’s over completely for most people. When Halloween ends, us hardcore fans are in a quiet waiting pattern in early November where we hold on to it. The hardcore Christmas Season hasn’t started yet. When Christmas ends, we have nothing else in January to do other than to miss Christmas. But Thanksgiving when it ends? It’s over and we’re on to the most wonderful time of year. Yet Thanksgiving might be the most wonderful day of the year!

There definitely is a very different feeling when Thanksgiving ends compared to the other 2 holidays. Of course, people like us miss it but we’re in the minority when it comes to that, I think. But we also get excited for Christmas when Thanksgiving ends too. Have a great Middle Day Of January!
