Good Morning Friends! Hump Day!! I sound like a broken record, but honestly Wednesday might be my favorite day of the work week besides obviously Friday.

We're looking at some skinny counts to start this morning. Halfoween is under 50 days now, and JOL day and Spooky Spring are 19, and 20 days, respectively. It still blows my mind that next month we are going to lose two of those counts and be looking at a Fall Preseason count that is UNDER 100 days. And also next month we will see that there won't be ANY more counts that are in the 200's! That's because our next milestone in this thread will be on Saturday when we hit 200 DAYS TO OCTOBER. After that, we will have only ONE more count in the 200's to finish out March with.

I haven't given much thought to Fall Pre-Season the past few weeks other than posting our count and milestone day. I imagine when Spooky Spring gets here it will be on my mind a lot. I woke up this morning to see a low hanging "Halloween Moon" behind the bare trees out in the field. Wish Iphones could take better pictures of stuff like that.

Halloween 3 isn't about Michael Myers at all! It actually works fine as a stand-alone scary movie, but Michael isn't even a part of the movie nor is he even mentioned.

Ah, see, I did not know that. That’s a bummer. I guess I need to watch the entire collection.

Darkness Falls was a JOL Day choice a few years ago, and it was just as scary as I remember!

Which is to say…not scary at all? LOL, sorry. I couldn’t help myself. Darkness Falls is pretty much the only scary movie that I think I audibly laughed at the reveal of the big bad at the end.

Apparently there is a Gremlins animated series. I was unaware of this. I wonder if it does justice to the original movies.

Evening Halloween Fans! I hope you are all doing well. I think this weather definitely is feeling like the fall. Today is chillier though than it has been the last few days. Evenings get cool, afternoons get mild. It's usually a perfect mixture. Happy Halloween!

Yes, that part was not so well done. But here's why Darkness Falls always has a special place in my horror movie memories.

I'm mildly scared of the dark. Not to the extent of the guy from the movie, but growing up, flashlights and stuff I always had nearby. The first time I ever saw the movie was with my high school girlfriend when it came out. We were so scared watching it, that when we drove home from Martinsburg (about 25 miles from here), we drove the whole way with the cab light on in my truck.

I think the movie got plenty of "scary" things right, like the kid trying to peek out from the sheets and look at the "tooth fairy", and you guessed what happens as soon as you see him peeking out from his vantage point. So it's one that I revisit from time to time, more so for nostalgia sake than wanting genuine scares.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's mini Friday! Today the stress of the work week reaches its final day, as later this afternoon we all collectively realize that tomorrow is FRIDAY. And I'm looking forward to another weekend.

We're just two days away now from hitting 200 DAYS TO OCTOBER in this thread. Sunday morning when we wake up, there will be only ONE count left in the 200's. During Spooky Spring, there will be NONE!

Yes, that part was not so well done. But here's why Darkness Falls always has a special place in my horror movie memories.

I love this! I can get behind some nostalgia. My girlfriends never wanted to watch scary movies though. It was always something like The Notebook or Ever After — the former of which I literally fell asleep in the theater while watching.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! I got up three times last night to look at the various stages of the lunar eclipse. At about 3:30 in the morning, it was blood red like something out of a video game. It was just amazing to see. And standing out in the yard in the chilly weather, it distinctly felt like Halloween. It was a great feeling. I'm again using Bing Image creator to do what my Iphone could not. This moon is much larger, but the color and trees are right!
