Happy Middle Day Of May! Today folks we move along and see that we have 195 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 169 days left until November and 108 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone arriving in less than 1 week. It will be Tom Turkey Day #6. 2 days later though will be the biggest milestone of the entire year which will be the 100-Day Marker till The Bers. It’s Friday folks so time for our Fun Fact Friday below!

Different Names: Male turkeys are called “toms,” females are “hens,” and babies are “poults.”

Well, that is something I didn’t know. Always trying to come up with some different facts on Fridays here. Turkey friends the best to you on this Friday. I am sure you are looking forward to a big weekend. Can you believe this will be the final weekend before Memorial Day Weekend? That’s unreal. And the weather here hasn’t really turned as we are stuck in a lot of clouds and cooler temperatures lately. Not cold. I’ve still got my shorts going that I took out this week, but we have not turned into real warm/humid/hot weather yet. I’m sure at some point soon it will start to turn to that, but I am patient with enjoying spring weather. Have a great Middle Day Of May!​
 
This coming weekend we will finally be standing at Memorial Day Weekend! Our true "homeward journey" back to the Bers will begin next weekend! We've been on our way back since January 1st, so maybe I should say the final leg of our journey begins? Have a great Friday!

Happy 2nd Half Of May! Today folks we move along and see that we have 107 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 168 days left until November and 107 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone arriving on Thursday. It will be Tom Turkey. Just two days after that though we’ll arrive at the biggest milestone on this website. Just my opinion, but it’s the 100-Day Marker till The Bers. It represents the bulk of summer and the beginning of the long summer path back home to The Bers. What a wonderful road we’ll embark on then. For now, friends, it’s Saturday and it’s the 1st half of our quiet weekend period. I hope you all had a great week. And I hope you enjoy your weekend. A mixed bag here of fun, relaxing and busy. But it’s all good as we have a big 3-day holiday weekend staring us in the face next weekend. It should be a big turning point. But right now, I’m just focusing on this current weekend. I saw this video from this guy saying don’t dwell on the past and don’t worry about the future. That’s the way to be the happiest is to live in the present. Wise words. I always say it, but the countdowns are not meant to rush the time (but the opposite). To try to slow it down. Happy Dozen Days Of May! Today folks we move along and see that we have 199 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 173 days left until November and 112 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone(s) arriving later this month. We’ll have our Tom Turkey Day in 10 days and in a dozen days folks we have the biggest milestone maybe on this entire MMC website. It will be the 100-Day Marker till The Bers. It’s Monday folks so time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week which now stands at 28 weeks. We’re inching along through the late 20s now. Turkey friends I hope you had a good weekend and that your week gets off to a nice start. I wish the best for you this week. I really do like this month of May for so many reasons. But I’m really just taking it all in. The weather this weekend was fantastic and I hope that it continues at least for a little longer before we get some more rain moving in. The best to you my gobbling friends on this Monday. I hope you enjoy your Monday. Make the most of it as you should make the most of every single day. Woohoo. That’s what I say on Mondays. Make it. To quote the Macho Man - "oooooh yeah" this week really feels like the week before Thanksgiving. I think it could also be said that it feels like the week before any of the big holidays. My personal reason is that I've got a big date coming up next week. So it sort of feels like a Holiday. And technically it IS a holiday with Memorial Day weekend rolling in.

I also love these "random" times of the year where you can feel the distinction with a big holiday date. "Week Before" vibes are a real thing! Have a great day!

Happy Spring Sunday! Today folks we move along and see that we have 193 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 167 days left until November, and 106 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestones coming up next week. Thursday, we have Tom Turkey Day #6 and Saturday we have the 100-Day Marker till The Bers. That is the biggest milestone in this thread and on this site. I’m sticking to that opinion. We move along on this Sunday in the 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period. I hope everyone is enjoying their time this weekend with family and friends. I’m heading to a baseball game tonight. Should be fun. Other than that, just hanging out at home most of the day and relaxing. I’m ok with that. Tried to get most of my errands and laundry done on Saturday as usual to free up some time for Sunday Funday. And taking Damian to the park, of course, once or maybe twice if I can fit it in. Turkey friends the best to you on this Sunday. I hope your week is going well and the weekend is living up to your expectations. This is the weekend before the big one my friends. I hope you are doing well. Enjoying your time. I agree - I have long said that 100 Days to The Bers is one of the biggest, if not THE biggest milestone and also biggest turning point of the calendar year! Have a great Sunday!

We move along in our Stress-Free Spring for one more work week here. Yes, our next milestones will both come this week. We have Tom Turkey Day scheduled to arrive on Thursday while on Saturday we have the 100-Day Marker till The Bers looming. The unofficial start to summer arrives with it and the Summer Sweatfest in this thread although, at this point, it does not look sweaty for us to start (but we’ll see). It’s Monday folks so time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week. It stands now folks at 27 weeks. Is that scary? Well this might scare you more but next week we will reach HALFWAY. Oh man. I can’t believe we will be halfway done with this thread soon. Let’s slow it down immediately. Rich pull up that magic slow down button we have. Happy Mellow May! Today folks we move along and see that we have 191 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 165 days left until November, and 104 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone arriving on Thursday with Tom Turkey Day approaching. And two days after that on Saturday we will have the biggest milestone on this site with the 100-Day Marker till The Bers. It’s Tuesday folks so let’s do our usual Picture Day here this Tuesday. It’s a big one my friends as we always have here on Tuesdays. Share those pictures of Autumn and Thanksgiving that you have. And be happy about viewing all the ones that everyone else posts also. Turkey friends you know what’s coming? The Summer Sweatfest is ahead of us. But every year I say it and it’s true and that is the summer sweatfest no matter how good or bad you like it you have to realize it is the season before OUR season of Autumn. So, it’s always welcome to me. Spring has been mostly good, but I am looking forward to summer too. It looks like there will be another nice day here which we will take before storm and chilly weather turns into our area.
