Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's finally Thursday and we have almost reached the finish line for this week!
We're going to get steady rain all day long and the temps are much cooler than the past few days, as today doesn't even hit 70 degrees. It will feel like October tonight when the rain turns chilly. What a weekend this will be, and what a time we are heading into!
You can see on the counts above, just three days are all that separates us from the major milestone day of 100 DAYS TO THE BERS. Beginning on Monday, that count will enter double digits and that seems unbelievable. We haven't had a count north of 200 days now for a while. Seeing another count enter double digit territory just confirms that we are moving along. THE ROAD is nearly ready to open!

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well on this Thursday. It feels like Friday to me since I'm taking it off. I feel like we're looking off in the far distance now and for the first time this year we can see The Bers. It's still far off in the distance but you can actually see it. Happy Halloween!

I hope work goes by fast today because I want to enjoy this long weekend. I'm off Monday and Tuesday. And my Son turns one year old today! I can't believe it's been a whole year!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! OUR weekend is finally here. It's a big one and there shouldn't be one person on this site that doesn't know what this weekend means for our countdowns and how things will feel moving forward.
Folks, we are on the doorstep to an absolute UNIT of a milestone.
100 DAYS TO THE BERS will be here tomorrow and I say this every year, but I have been ready for the longest time.
Even though it's 50 degrees outside and pouring down rain, Summer begins this weekend. I am ready for the journey. We obviously have our surgery coming up in 20 days (!!!), which is at the middle of June. When that is over and the subsequent recovery, we will probably be close to July 4th weekend, the final Non-Bers holiday of the year. So mentally by that point I'm thinking I just have to deal with ONE MORE MONTH until Fall Pre-Season is back! I've got this!

Happy Milestone Sunday folks! ALL LANES ARE OPEN as THE ROAD officially opens up today! This is obviously the biggest milestone day on this site! I am ready for the "challenges" of the next 100 days and seeing ourselves *this* close to arriving back home is the motivation I need to get through summer. Even though we have been on the journey back since January 1st, every day we complete from this point forward is one step further in our "final approach" back home to The Bers.
One week away now from JOL Day #4. Tomorrow, another count enters double digits.
I hope all of us, whatever we are doing today, can take time to appreciate this amazing and inspiring milestone. I remember last year being in the hospital, and learning that we were going to get to go back home on this milestone day. It was a present from God, a sign from the universe that it was all going to be ok.

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. We have a very rainy day here again. The Sunday Group was going to do miniature golfing but that's been washed out. But we make alternative plans and we're going to brunch at our favorite spot and then home for coffee. Happy Halloween!

It's been a slightly rainy day here. More thunder than rain, so I guess that's good? We have a storm rolling in right now. The severe weather has stayed well north and south of us. This little storm we're having now isn't much. I'm hoping to get to the At Home store tomorrow to see if they have any Halloween stuff out yet. They were clearing some shelves off a couple of weeks ago, so just maybe.

Sorry for not checking in here recently, just been a really busy end of the school year! But now it is SUMMER BREAK!
The weather this May has continued to be cool and somewhat Fall like. I have been able to get a few Halloween movies in this Spring, which has been great. My goal was to watch some of the movies that I normally cannot fit in during the true Halloween season. While I did not watch as many as I would have liked, I was able to knock a few off the list.
Having not been on to look at the countdown much, I am shocked how far along we are! Exciting times!

Another cool morning before making its way up to a muggy 75 degrees. It rained a tiny bit overnight, and I am hoping that it is dry enough to finally mow the back yard. It is really starting to look like a jungle!

Don't some of the counts seem "soon" to you? I know that right now it's a little over two months away, but looking at some of those counts really make you feel like it's just a couple of weeks away. Maybe just wishful thinking from my part.....

Hello Halloween Fans!
I am been thinking a lot about the upcoming Fall and Halloween Season. I will not be coaching football this Fall so I will have a lot more time to enjoy the Fall. I am looking forward to being able to enjoy more Halloween movies in the evenings and more Fall events on Saturdays. Another part of the Fall that I will enjoy is going to Cleveland Browns games. We decided to get season tickets this year, so some of my Sundays will be spent in Cleveland. This is going to be a great Fall!
