It's beautiful here - 62 degrees and vibrantly sunny! If it stays calm today, we're going to have a fire outside this evening. This time change is crazy! The very final week before we set the clocks back. That means an extra hour of Halloween!

Another nice day here. Cool morning and warm afternoon. So hard to believe we are in the final week to Halloween. I have lots to still accomplish for Halloween in the week.

I have a couple of movies I have to watch this week and we have to get ready for our Halloween Party, on Halloween. Of course there is also the regular work days in there to get in the way, but oh well. LOL

Hello Halloween Fans! They have the annual Halloween Parade in my area this weekend. It's become a tradition for years now. The weather is looking to cooperate for it. I'm just doing errands and cleaning up today. Going to visit my friend's kids at their cousin's birthday party briefly too. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Pumpkin People! We're under a week to Halloween now. The final countdown is really on. This time next week We will be firmly in the Halloween afterglow, and it will be transforming into Christmas everywhere.

It's a good time to be a Halloween fan. OUR TIME is nearly here. I have to get started on the new thread this week. I want to be ready to hit the ground running next week.

Hello Halloween Fans! I am excited for our new Halloween Event today. The weather here feels like October. This is the most beautiful time of year. The leaves turning, sunshine, cool mornings and mild afternoons. And Halloween decorations everywhere. Plus the Halloween Parade was yesterday. What more could a Halloween Fan ask for? Today started out sunny, but now it's sprinkling and the wind is strong. Tonight will be a good night to watch a Halloween movie. I don't like the real scary ones, so it might end up being a Christmas movie instead. Or The Great Pumpkin.

Good Morning Pumpkin People! This is it. We are making our "final approach" to Halloween now. The big Halloweekend begins on Saturday.

Our kids have their costumes and everything is ready. I'm hoping to hit the Ginkgo Grove maybe on Friday afternoon or Saturday, but it all depends on how much the Ginkgo's turn this week, I may have to wait until next week to go down.

This is absolutely October in its full power right now, I hope everyone enjoys it! Have a great day!

Hello Halloween Fans! It's here my friends. It's Halloween Week. Unbelievable and we had a lot of fun on Sunday visiting another haunted house attraction. They sure get into it and we do too. I love Halloween Season. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Tuesday to you all!

Our final approach to Halloween continues. Still having beautiful weather, getting up to 70 degrees today. The "Ginkgo watch" at the state arboretum reveals that only around 10% of the Ginkgo leaves have turned yellow. I was originally planning on leaving work a half day to go down to the Ginkgo Grove on Friday, but if they are not near 100%, then it is just a waste of PTO. I'll keep my eyes on their FB page throughout this week.

Got my pumpkin yesterday. First went to Walmart and they were down to deformed culls and pretty but cantaloupe-size specimens. With a touch of panic I ran to a supermarket, and they had stacks of big beautiful jack-o'-lanterns in the rough. Grabbed a good-looker, paid, brought it home, and THEN discovered it tips back and rocks when set on a flat surface. This one will require all the strategy and finesse I've learned in 60 years of carving my own. And next year I'll buy more carefully.

Only 4 days to go! Yay!

Hello Halloween Fans! We are on Tuesday of Halloween Week. What a special week this is. I'm taking it all in. I will try to watch a few Halloween shows this evening. I saw someone laying in their car with a Michael Myers mask on last weekend. I kept my distance from that car even though he was asleep. I've watched too many (yet not enough) Halloween movies over the years. Happy Halloween!

Hello Halloween Fans! It's another nice day here. I won't say beautiful because we actually have some clouds today mixed in. Still a nice day out there. And I read we are in the midst of our driest streak this year right now. And it's not ending any time soon. Halloween should be dry for the kids. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's 41 hours from the time of this writing until HALLOWEEN 2026!

I saw this graphic this morning and had to share. This is absolutely my house here. Sunday Morning we'll probably be putting up Christmas lights and decorations.

Finally, the weekend is almost here. It's kind of felt like a long week!

After work today, my Halloweekend begins. I got a nice four day weekend to enjoy the end of Spooky Season, plus ushering in early/pre Christmas Season! I only have two more 5 day work weeks the rest of the year as a bonus.
