Christmas Countdown - 2010

Oh how I've missed this site! Besides the fact that i LOVE christmas.... The jolly season has been on my mind A LOT this past week...to the point i am even dreaming that it is christmas!!! I'm not sure if its the cooler weather, or the fact that i just really want it to be that time of the year again!!! :snowball

or maybe it's cuz i miss all my christmasy friends cheesyhahaha
whatever the reason, i feel like curling up in a blanket, flipping on christmas movies..and relaxing.

She had surgery the other day and then the hospital transferred her to a rehab center for Phy. Therapy as she is having a hard time getting around with the cast on. They expect her to be in there for a couple of weeks. She was my babysitter for the kids while we worked. We had to scramble over to find someone and thankfully my cousin wasa able to refer a good friend. Now have to rework the house hold budget to factor in the cost of the new sitter.

Thanksfully our veggie is planted and some have actually sprouted through the soil already......

Scorcher here today, thankfully there was a bit of a breeze and I was working amidst air conditioning most of the day.

O'Malley spent most of the day on the balcony because it seemed a tad cooler outside than inside.

I'm heading over to the Shispering Pines tomorrow night for Fired-Twinkies and to join Crown on the picket line ... it's too hot for coffee or tea, ICED DRINKS are the way to go!

So, I watched the animated Grinch on the weekend after watching the Carrey version the weekend before. I love it when the Grinches heart grows three sizes and the Whoville gang sing Fa Who Foraze without any presents at all.

Well it was exhausting babysitting my niece all day. It wasn't exactly how I would have preferred to spend my birthday but it wasn't a total waste of a day either. I hope everyone had a good day!!!!!!

I can't wait for sunday!!!!! The Indy 500 in the morning and then the 600 that night. cheesy There is nothing better than a full day of racing to help you relax.
