Well I am getting ready to head out to my sisters house to babysit my nieces for the day. Mom is going to help her with the garage sale but I have a feeling that I will probaly end up having to help out with it to. We are supposed to have some scattered stroms today but nothing as bad as yesterday morning. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning and Happy FRIDAY!!!! Well whatever our little guy had it did not last long. He was back to his normal self last night. The kids bunkbed is being delivered and set up this afternoon.
Our daughter has another softball game tonight and tomorrow I am working at a craft fair, going to try to sell more product and book more demo parties.

Well it is extremely humid today and I think that is keeping most people home. I drove around and there is 25 garage sales in my sisters edition but hardly anyone actually out shopping. My sister usaully does really good and has a rush of people first thing but so far she has only had about 5 people. At least the kids are being good for me.

Happy Friday everyone! This weekend my Mom is having a yardsale tomorrow morning that we will be selling some stuff at. Also my God Daughter's 1st Birthday party is tomorrow afternoon and my Nieces 2nd Birthday party is Sunday. Lots of Birthday cake yum yum cheesy Im hoping to get a little more Christmas shopping done on my lunch break today. I have gotten quite a few things for my 3 year old...not sure what to get my 9 month old..it is surely easier as they get older and have a hobby or favorite character. Any ideas? Pluto was his favorite when we went to Disney World so I was thinking a big Pluto stuffed animal but I have no idea what else? Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!

We're gearing up for our city beautification group's rummage sale tomorrow. My mom boought a new couch and recliner a couple days ago and donated her old ones the sale. That was super of her, but I don't think I can sell dad's recliner. He LOVED sitting in that chair with a book. I think I'll buy it for myself and store it for a few years. Maybe later I'll be willing to part with it, but not yet.

Just finished watching a Cheers Christmas episode, makes me wish Christmas was here now. My little guy is napping, my big guy is at preschool, 2 hours of quiet before I go to work.

Minta-glad to hear your little guy is better


MsChristmas-I didn't think I could do it either but when your Dr. tells you to lose it because of high blood pressure and you have a young family it puts it in perspective, also we have/had a harder time Christmas shopping for our little guy he is more into his older brothers toys so it makes the judgment tougher on what the little one would like for himself

Brad-I know how you feel about the recliner, I still have the last thing my mother got for me before she passed, a Bengals sweatshirt I haven't fit into it since I was 17 but it hangs in my sons closet as a reminder to me. I don't think I can ever get rid of it.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I can't tell you how I've missed being here...The live countdown to the season is my favorite part of the year!

I've been battling a cold/virus of some sort for two weeks now and I'm gittin' tired of it! I'm on my second anti-biotic and constantly feel like I need a nap...But when I was home sick last week I watched seven Tivo'd Christmas movies from as long ago as July of 2009!~ It was GREAT!!!

It appears that I failed to visit this morning. Hopefully everyone enjoyed their Friday morning and are looking forward to heading home to begin another weekend! This weekend is Kim's graduation. It should be fun! Her family is making the hour trek from Cornwall for it and then we are returning with them for further celebrations. Kim is very excited.

Of course, as I was about to chime in for the day, the fire alarm went off and I had to go outside. At least it's nice out today! The sun is shining and it's about 23C. Very comfortable!

The count is getting ever so close to that milestone. 4 more days. We're almost there! Now it is time to read some posts and catch up. Have a great Friday, everyone!!

I don't think I could part with such an item either. Plenty of sentimental value in that recliner. It's too bad that you can't put it to good use in your own home.

I can understand that. We kept both my Grandpa's and Grandma's recliners for along time after they passed. They were both really broken down and didn't recline anymore when we finally got rid of them but it was still a hard thing to do.
