Good Monday Morning!
Busy day for me today. My oldest grandson is out for the summer so I have all 3 of my grandkids all day while my daughter works. We might go to the Children's Museum today that we are members of.
I hope everyone has a great day today!
Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!
I haven't posted since Friday. My router at home quit working. :-?
We had our rummage sale and raised $1200! We're trying to decide between ordering every-day banners (Welcome to Historic Bellville) or Fall banners (my preference). I can't wait!
Yesterday was Nancy's birthday. My son bought a (new) waffle iron at the rummage sale so he could make waffles for his mom on her birthday. I was helping him with it, but forgot the spray the oil on the plates. That was a terrible, sticky mess. I helped my daughter make french toast, instead and they gave her breakfast in bed. Then we did gifts and lunch at mom's house, and dinner at Olive Garden. Great day!
My kids are the best! As I mentioned above, Jacob bought a waffle iron with his own money to make waffles for his mama. I'm going to help him try it again. Elizabeth has overheard me complaining about my feet hurting at the end of the day. She used her own money and bought a foot massager (with the bubbles and the vibrating) at the rummage sale. She cleaned it, set it up and I used it for an hour. Then she even rubbed my feet afterwards, like they do at the spa. When she finished, she asked "do your feet feel better now, daddy?" Well, of course they did! It obviously made her so proud that she had helped me. She said she would rub my feet anytime they hurt. My Lord, she loves her daddy. cheesy Nancy won't even do that for me!
Enough about me! I hope you all have a great Monday! cheesy

getting ready to put kandice to bed in a few
Having time with the kids is great! I remember when my kids were little I looked forward to summers and dreaded school to start back up. I loved spending time with them. We had so much fun all summer long.Im off on Wednesdays and of course its going to be rainy but it doesnt matter as long as Im with my boys .
Enjoy the time you have with them!I was not supposed to buy a whole lot as my dad, mom and her husband are coming up on Wednesday. My graduation is on Friday. My dad will be staying at my place with Kim, Mike and I, where as my mom and her husband will be staying in a hotel downtown. I'm excited to see them again. I have not yet seen any of them since 2009! Unfortunately, I have to work and will not be able to spend as much time as I would like with them. However, I am sure we'll make the most of it anyway.
Hopefully you will get a nap in, you sound busy!I am home from the southern part of Indiana. I left home about 5:30 this morning so I could get down there before the traffic picked up. It is about a 2 hour drive and then I can do all of my work in about 45 minutes once I get there. This afternoon I have to run to the grocery store and I might go for a walk around one of the parks here in town. I will probably squeeze a nap in to. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Charlie Brown Christmas is my very favorite Christmas cartoon!Good afternoon..... we had a nice cold front come through late yesterday afternoon that got rid of the heat and humidity cheesy.. We were able to shut off the ac and open the windows. Well it got a bit chilly so the kids and I curled up on the sofa, snuggled under some blankets and watched Charlie Brown Christmas! Maybe tonight we will watch another Christmas video.
Good to see you!Hello everyone!! Quickly stopped by here before bed. Hope everyone is doing well.
You have great kids! I bet you're proud and it shows you and your wife are good parents! cheesyMy kids are the best! Well I just got back from the grocery store where I got a great deal. My brother in law is the meat department manager and he had a bunch of boneless skinless chicken breasts that were getting close to date so He called me on his lunch hour and told me that he was going to be marking them down cheap and that I should stop by. When I got there after my walk around the park he had marked them down to 68 cents a pound. I got 6 packages of them and I would have got more if I had more in the freezer. He said that my sister had him get 10 packages for them to stick in their freezer. It's nice to have a inside source for when they are going to be marking stuff down.
