Wow, this day has gone by fast.

Hope all you dads had a great day!

Went for a nice drive today, visited my brother out at camp David. (where the rest of us will be camping on the Canada Day weekend). About 15 of us will be actually camping, the rest coming for a day of family fun and food on Saturday. Really looking forward to it!
 
A bit late but wishing all the dads a great Father's Day! Hope you all didn't melt today.. sooo hot and humid here! Blech.

Morning folks. Summer Solstice today...and it is indeed here! Better make the most of it, I bet by this time tomorrow it will be raining!! The weather is messed up here! :lol:

First day of summer.. that means days get shorter starting tomorrow! And we're inching towards Christmas everyday that passes! :)

How right you are.
Of course it has been feeling like Summer here for quite some time now.
We are again supposed to reach the mid-90's with no rain. Same for the remainder of the week. (Welcome to Summer in the South.)
We stand at 76 degrees, currently.

And speaking of "inching towards Christmas", exactly how many "inches" away is it? (Glad you asked, even if you didn't)
Days to the Season: 145
Days to Christmas Day: 187
We are but FIVE days away from the half-way mark to Christmas Day, Friends.

Im happy the days are starting to get shorter starting tomorrow but since today is only the First day of Summer we have a whole season to get through UGH. I will try to enjoy Summer as much as I can but Im a Fall girl cheesy. I have a lot to look forward to with my Brother and Mom's Birthday in July. Also we have a really big carnival at the end of July and my youngest Son wil be turning 1 in August. Im very excited about that and then my favorite time of the year starting September! Happy Monday to everyone. Its going to be another hot and humid week here!
 
Morning all, summers first day. Which means 1 less day of summer to go! Not much longer till the leaves change and the temps begin to fall!!!:wiggy:

I am a fall gal myself, too (and winter!) I try to find things to look forward to in the summer but it's hard... I'll have a summer baby now, too, so that's something!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Yesterday was a great Father's Day for me, except that Nancy & Elizabeth had to leave early yesterday morning. They had bought tickets to see the play "Little House on the Prarie" in Atlanta. Melissa Gibert was starring in it. She didn't realized the tickets were on Father's Day when she bought them, and she couldn't refund them, so I told her to go ahead. Jacob and I went to my mom's for the day, then we went fishing. Not too bad!
