Thanks!! I'm excited! Hopefully they call back tonight and Kim can arrange a viewing for Wednesday! I think I will be the same way as soon as I am out of school. Luckily, I keep delaying that... Hoping for two more years - Teachers College and then my Maters. In total, that will be nine years of post secondary education! Oops.
... I can also get flustered with the heat. Living on the 17th floor of our current apartment without air conditioning is not a great way to spend a summer. Because of this, I actually look forward to going to work!
You will love the Inn at Christmas Place. I've stayed there twice. DH loved it too and I don't think he'll every stay anywhere else in PF for our anniversary trips now!
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend and a great Father's Day! I have today and tomorrow off from work and I get my first paycheck on Wednesday! I can't wait. Job is still going well. We had to take our desktop hard drive in (again) to get fixed. Now it has the Google Redirect Virus. In fact, I have it on my laptop, and my brother has it on his too. It's NOT fun! But they said that they'll give a program that'll get rid of it. None of the normal virus programs will get rid of it!

I just realized I finally hit 2,000 posts!!!!!
October 11th this year for us! We are a little lucky for that. Since we're further north, our "harvest" comes earlier. Of course we eat turkey! It's basically the exact same. We just always celebrated on your "Columbus Day" due to the fact that our climate cools down before yours.
Congratulations!! My post goal is to get to 1000 before I leave for Prague on July 1st. We'll see if I can do it!

I was in my back yard bringing in the laundry and something bit me on the arm. It is a white lump now about 3" across with a red area twice that size. Thought it was a mosquito, now I am not so sure. It is really warm feeling.

I am going to catch up on reading everyones post in the morning. I have been exhausted today. The grandkids came over at 8 am and left at 5 pm. I fell in bed as soon as they left and slept for 2 hours. I am still tired and on my way back to bed. I remember the days of raising kids, you didn't get to just fall in bed and go to sleep when you want. At least with babysitting I can do that when they leave.

Good evening all! Happy First Day of Summer! (now hurry up Fall)
Just checking in quickly, (probably will stay on longer than I want) We finally took down my little guys toddler bed and he is sleeping in his "big boy bed" tonight, he looks so little in it, but it was nice to lay with him in his bed instead of the floor for a change to get him to sleep. His potty training is going well he is telling us when he needs to go. My older son had his last day of pre-school today, kindergarten starts in the fall, it is amazing how fast they grow up. Just a quick update I now have lost 22lbs 3 more until I hit my Dr.'s goal, my shirts hang off me different and I am using the last hole on my belt. My wife is so proud of me, I don't think she thought I could do it, especially this fast.
I broke out my favorite Christmas book today, it is called Holiday Lights. It has pictures of light displays from all over, and chapters called "Good Weird" I love it and helps me get in the mood for the season. I bought it 8 years ago to my wife's chagrin, but last year she saw me reading it and said "You definitely got your money's worth out of that book."
