When I went to work this morning at 7, the bank's temp. said 98. At 11, it said 103, and at 1 is said 106. I don't think it is exactly right, but it is probably +/- 2 degrees. Tomorrow, the temp is supposed to get to 103. HOLY COW!!!!!

Leaving town for a quick over night business trip tomorrow, but I will be on tomorrow night. See yall then!

I hear you!! One day of that kind of weather is enough. We have not quite got to that temp yet...but close!! 3 more months of heat. Its not cold until the first week of october here....BLECH! I keep saying to myself that I made it through one month...and just 3 more to go.

Today we are at the half way to christmas mark I believe.

Good evening all! Happy First Day of Summer! (now hurry up Fall)

Just checking in quickly, (probably will stay on longer than I want) We finally took down my little guys toddler bed and he is sleeping in his "big boy bed" tonight, he looks so little in it, but it was nice to lay with him in his bed instead of the floor for a change to get him to sleep. His potty training is going well he is telling us when he needs to go. My older son had his last day of pre-school today, kindergarten starts in the fall, it is amazing how fast they grow up. Just a quick update I now have lost 22lbs 3 more until I hit my Dr.'s goal, my shirts hang off me different and I am using the last hole on my belt. My wife is so proud of me, I don't think she thought I could do it, especially this fast.
I broke out my favorite Christmas book today, it is called Holiday Lights. It has pictures of light displays from all over, and chapters called "Good Weird" I love it and helps me get in the mood for the season. I bought it 8 years ago to my wife's chagrin, but last year she saw me reading it and said "You definitely got your money's worth out of that book."

Can't sleep which is not unusual for me. Been having an extreme attack of asthma, doc increased my prednisone today.......Oh well. It will get better.

Xmas365 CONGRATULATIONS on the weight loss !!! You should be SO PROUD of yourself !!! Believe me, losing weight is I think one of the MOST DIFFICULT things in the world to do !! In fact, I keep trying in order to perfect it !! cheesy

Weather in my corner of the world has been warm also but not as warm as some of you are having. I think today we were 85 degrees. I probably should get some rest.......5:00 a.m. comes VERY EARLY Have a wonderful night everyone !!

Good Evening Friends!!
Rodeo weekend this Friday and Saturday. There will also be a parade on Saturday and d/d will be in it. She is taking a few summer classes and cheerleading is one of them so she and the others will be in the parade. We had thunder, lightening and rain last night. A pleasant and warm day today. We finally have our kitchen cabinets installed. We primered the walls in the kitchen and plan to paint soon (or when I can narrow it down to something I really like). Other than that staying busy as usual. I did manage to break away to attend my nephews 4th Birthday on Sunday. I had a wonderful time. My other little nephew will have his 3rd birthday over the coming weekend. My brother and his wife plan to make it a pool party and BBQ. I hope to go. I also found out that my sister in law is pregnant (this will be her 3rd). I am thrilled for her and my brother. Well I hope you all are enjoyin' you summer. cheesy​

My 10 month old Son wasnt sleeping well either, Im not sure if he is not feeling well too or teething...so I only got about 3 hours of sleep. Im thinking of going into work but leaving early. The G20 summit is being held an hour from here and I plan to stay this far from it! Sounds crazy already and it is still several days away. I think most
so called "protesters" are just using this for an excuse to make trouble and cause damage. Praying it does not get as violent as the police are preparing for.

Anyone here ever live close to where this event has been held in the past?

Another HOT day here today... don't you hate when they give you the extended forecast and EVERY day is hot and humid? 95 tomorrow, 96 on Thursday! BLAHHHH!!!! I will try to sit as still as possible those 2 days to avoid sweating my butt off, hehe!

Our home inspection is today... hoping for some good news, but feeling positive with this house!!!! I'll be almost 37 weeks pregnant when we make settlement so I'll be cutting it close.. hope this baby decides to hang in there until his/her due date or maybe a bit afterwards like my first did!!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We started Vacation Bible School last night. The kids had a blast, and I'm the photographer, so I stayed busy, too. When I got home at 9:30, the mayor called to say that the city had a broken water line and he couldn't reach the service guy, would I please check it out. I rode over and found that lightning had struck a water meter and blown it out of the ground! We cut off the water to that section of twon last night. Hopefully, the service guy can come first thing this morning.

Yes, the hot weather continues here.
(I'm begining to think it's coming from the NE, likely from Bing's endless coffee perculating).
We hit 93 yesterday and are supposed to reach 97 today, tomorrow and Thursday. And that doesn't even factor in the heat index which is bound to be high owing to the humidity figures.

OK. The count continues:
Days to the Season: 144
Days to Christmas Day: 186
Barely over half a week now until the 50% Christmas Day Milestone.

Welcome Tuesday. It was a busy Weekend! We took William to the Childrens Expo in the park saturday. Sunday we relaxed for Fathers day. My Son gave me a Peter Griffin Fathers Day card. Funny Hope everyone had a good fathers day! Gotta get ready for work!

I was in my back yard bringing in the laundry and something bit me on the arm. It is a white lump now about 3" across with a red area twice that size. Thought it was a mosquito, now I am not so sure. It is really warm feeling.
OK, done whining, going to bed now.
