I never made it there. My sister called and said that the state park had called and told her that she left a bag of medicine in their cabin when they checked out last saturday. It's not medicine that she takes everyday so she didn't notice that she had left it there. So me being the nice brother that I am I went ahead and drove back down to the park to pick it up for her. My oldest niece wanted to go with me so I took her and we played on the big playground for awhile after we got there and then stopped at dairy queen for ice cream on the way back. It wasn't how I planned on spending my evening but it was a fun time.

That is nice of them to call and nice of you to go get that for her! I use to work at Dairy Queen when I was a teenager. We got to eat free there and I had so much fun making up different varieties of ice cream sundaes. cheesy

Welcome to JULY everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is another beautiful day here. We are expecting a high of 77 again today. It looks like one more day of nice weather and then the heat and humidty return on saturday. I need to run to the grocery store today and I also have some laundry to do. Then I plan on cleaning my pantry and starting a list of stuff to start stocking up on for my all of my holiday baking. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news! Kim and I went to Hallmark yesterday and they had their Christmas ornament display up... Finally!!! Well, the display was there. No ornaments yet, but it made me very excited!!!
As tourist flood the Nation's Capital, I will be heading out. Today marks the beginning of my journey to Prague. I will do my best to check in once, but I'd imagine that I will be very busy! I do not know how I am going to come on here for two and a half weeks. Hopefully the rest of you doing a great job at meeting Binger's posting pace! Good luck with that!
It seems like a lot of people are beginning their vacations this weekend. To all of you, I say have a great time!! I will be in the air as of about 5 PM today. We are busing to Montreal at 1 PM and then flying to Paris. We will arrive in Paris at 6 AM (Paris time) and then Prague at about 9 AM (Prague time). I'm excited to see another continent, especially a city that is so rich with tradition.
Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys the fact that we are in July! Christmas is approaching. By the time I return, we will be already half way through July - and past another milestone. Fantastic! It is going to be a busy morning, so I do not believe I will return until about the 19th or 20th. I wish everyone all the best until then and keep counting down toward the most wonderful time of the year.
Have a safe and happy Canada Day. To everyone in the U.S., enjoy your Fourth of July celebrations. To everyone going on vacations, have fun with those. See you in a few weeks!!

I finally made it back to hobby lobby and was horrifeid to find all the christmas stuff gone. Then I walked to the front of the store and found three empty aisles and a bunch of totes and realized that they were just moving it all. The manager was standing there so I asked him if they were getting more in and he said that they just recieved alot of the picks, wreaths, and garlands on there last truck. He said that they should also be receving more new stuff on their next shipment. I will try to stop on monday and see if they have it all out again so I can get some pictures.

Lucky! We dont have one of those around here but I just stopped in Michaels craft store and they only have a few Fall items out..the same as last week..I was disappointed :-?
Im soo glad to be into the month of July cheesy I hope this month goes by as fast as June did! This week has been long for me but tomorrow I get off of work early and then have a 3 day weekend which Im looking forward to. Anyone have big plans for the 4th of July? Happy Canada Day to our Canadian (hope that is spelt right) friends.

I don't have any big plans for the 4th, just a regular work day so I will be typing !! Today was my eye surgery. It went fine but I admit I was a little scared. It was over before I knew it and I was actually awake pretty much during the surgery, weird !! No pain at all.
I will be trying to get some R and R between now and the 4th to rest my eye and be ready to go on Sunday !!
